Yes you can pretty easily, i do it. Don't watch the news, read newspapers or listen to the radio. Problem solved. The only reason i knew about what happened last night was cos 1 or 2 people mentioned it on Facebook. Avoiding the media isn't hard at all if you really don't want to hear from them.
