Score Updates?

Parramatta lost prop Mitchell Allgood in the opening minutes after he was concussed in trying to tackle Wests Tigers prop Aaron Woods.

Promising Wests Tigers full-back James Tedesco got off to a nervous start in his first senior game with two fumbles from a grubber kick but recovered well when he leapt high to defuse a crossfield kick by Ben Roberts.

Wests Tigers opened the scoring in the 12th minute through a superb cut out pass by five-eighth Benji Marshall to send winger Matt Utai over in the left corner for a 4-0 lead. Marshall converted his own try for a 6-0 lead.

A crossfield kick by new Eels half-back Chris Sandow saw centre Esi Tonga outleap half-back Tim Moltzen for the ball to score near the posts. Winger Luke Burt converted the try for a 6-all scoreline after 24 minutes.

Keep the updates coming guys …first year in ages I am going to miss both main trials ...it's killing me...much appreciated

Three minutes later, Wests Tigers second-rower Gareth Ellis busted the Eels defence open to send centre Blake Ayshford over next to the posts. The try came on the back of a 20 metre restart after the Eels knocked the ball on in-goal.

Marshall converted the try for a 12-6 lead after 28 minutes.

A nice cut out pass by Moltzen saw Ayshford head for the right cornerpost before turning the ball back inside for winger Beau Ryan to score in the 28th minute for a 16-6 lead. Marshall's attempt hit the right upright.

huh? Why was Moltzen trying to defuse a bomb? I thought he was playing 7…

Considering it was a centre who scored the try it's not out of the realms of possibility it was coming down to his defensive position
