As long as he's not coming back here, I'm happy. I don' tthink he's lived up to his potential since he left and I quite like the idea of moving forward with Miller at 7 as opposed to going back to Prince who was great in '05, meh in '06 and 5 years older now.

Bang on Suze. Between you and Chris you've both hit the nail on the head.

He's in his twilight now, I don't believe we will see him in the form he was in 2010 again. Let the Bronco's have him. If we were desperate enough to take him on, anymore than $100K a season is a waste. The Titans would definitely want to be footing the majority of the bill if he ever came back.

It's only 1 year on from 2010? Titans were 3rd and 4th on 2009 and 2010 respectively. How has he suddenly become the worst halfback in the world with 1 bad injury riddled season and no decent number 6 alongside him?

The only major hesitation i would have is that he has 3 years left on his contract with the Titans. I wouldn't want the tigers to sign him for more than 1-2 years, otherwise it could hamper millers development.

I agree that we would want him cheap though. I'm not sure the $500k figure is accurate, unless it's backloaded. Becuase it means that he signed a $2.5mil deal in 2009\. Those amounts weren't thrown around back then.

Guys, how quickly you forget. Sure, he was terrible this year, but he also did win the halfback of the year in 2010…. pretty sure that isn't that long ago?

I can understand him wanting his $500k. He probably had a back-loaded contract with the Titans and just wants what he is owed. It's hardly being all about the money.

I hope we get him here. Not on $500k, but maybe $250k with the Titans paying half. How good would it be for Miller to have Princy here to guide him before his step into 1st grade.

no way Titans will release him and pay half is contract. They may do one but not both.

Prince is a very predictable halfback…always uses the show and go
i predict that the broncos would get him cheap and the titans would payout a persentage of his contract to keep him happy

Hit the nail on the head Suzie. He was always a liability in defence, _especially_ on the line. He's had a terrible run since '06 and has only gotten older, slower and less dynamic. And his defense hasn't improved.

I think he'll be hesitant to start Miller as next year's half. Knowing Sheen's, he'll wan't a backup half in case Miller doesn't work on first grade. I think we need someone else to fill the #7 jersey for this season and give Miller another season for experience. Use him off the bench every now and again and blood him properly.

… But then again, what's the poing in buying an average half back? It's such a key position, you can't just 'fill' it. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Prince guided the titans to the top4 in the last 2 seasons…...he has had 1 bad year and everyone is off him

He won't be coming to the Tigers and if the Broncos pick him up all I can say is good luck.

Spoke to my mate. Prince wants every cent he was promised in his contract with the Gold Coast. So it is all up in the air again now and back to stage one. Word is as of today, they are saying he wont play for anyone if he is gonna get one cent less. So if he does go elsewhere, GC has to top up his contract money.

Surely, there are better solutions than returning to the "future" with a 32 year old half, whose wife apparently did not want to live in Sydney.
