Front Row Forum is based entirely on trolling these days.
But theres some people on there that are fun to stir
 
It is the most disgraceful forum I have ever seen. I sometimes think our moderators can be a little strict, but when I read the disgraceful comments on the Manly forum, I am glad we have controls in place.

It can only be a small element that posts on that forum, but some of the comments are downright disgraceful. The forum also has advertisements for this website called Push-it-up-Manly" which has chants for various teams. Have a look at what is said about Billy Slater:

I just had a look at them then. Just disgusting. If anyone were to chant those at a game you'd want them banned for life.
Was it last year or the year before that Manly fans at Brookvale reduced a young Melbourne fan to tears over the things they were saying about Slater? Manly fans are grubs.
Perhaps they should look at the actions (or alleged actions) of their own fullback before they start on Slater.
 
Quantum a part owner of manly, has even admitted the money spent on the club was a mistake.

There supporters cheer on a 6 on 1 fight and still today think Blair is to blame.

They are broke and from what i have just read are a cancer of our game…

Good riddence manly sea eagles..... Rugby League doesnt need to be played on the Northern Beaches...
 
I don't want to get involved in the name calling game but geez that's an ordinary forum. If the stuff in the OP is what passes for wit and creativity then they've got issues. Frankly I'd be embarassed if that sort of stuff went on here. Some of them have only one level of humour - male genitals and what people can do with them… And this from a club who's winger is on youtube playing with himself after a GF and their FB was up on sexual assault charges...

Anyway I know a few Manly fans who aren't like that and the thread in question over at their site is a perfect example of what happens without decent moderation. You'd think under their own rules (•You agree not to use any obscene, indecent, or offensive language or to place on the Service any material that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, or hateful.) the whole thread should be deleted. I don't mind criticism of playing ability but that is just juvenile and pathetic.
 
Weve had members worse than that, abusing their fellow fans, club officials and players as opposed to opposition….all clubs have their jerks....its very immature to generalise and lump all in the one basket becuase of a few bad eggs, pretty much on a par with racism really.

Well said BOSS YOSS i agree iv'e been on some forums and what they are allowed to get away with is just incredible , i wont allow my son to go on some of them the language is disgusting.

It was also Slater who cradled David Williams, just after severely damaging his neck? He was the first one to realise the severity situation and reacted in the best way possible for Williams safety.

He done this on the same night that 6 or so Manly players showed how low they can act when they went all in whilst Adam Blair,his team mate at the time, on the side line.

I don't care who it is, but any player who shows this kind of respect and humanity towards their opponents, deserves everyone's respect and not to be subject to that sort of rubbish.

Their fans wouldn't commute the 15km to the SFS last year to support them in the semi's. Only 12k at the game. That sums them up. Fairweather fans. The Bears or Jets would have pulled bigger crowds.
