Season 2022

I feel for Madge if he's punted I really do.... It should be the players that pay but that's never realistic
James. Graham said whenever he played Madge coached teams (south's, Wigan, NZ) he knew what to expect... Tough brutal.opposition.

His players here have dogged it... But I can't look.forward to next year if the same is about to occur and that's all. I see if Madge stays... I feel for him

A new coach will at least bring some anticipation of the unknown.at least for me personally for the upcoming. 22 season

I'll be here... expecting little, hoping more

I wanted to be confident of things being better if we moved on from another coach, I am not confident but after the end of the season I will take hope.

I was confident for the season ahead due to Madge finally getting players that suited his style, not least Hastings. He wasn't given a fair chance to build the squad he wanted. He was damned by bludgers like Mbye and Packer that are finally gone. I'll be even less confident if we're starting from scratch again.

Mate, there was absolutely no structure to anything that we do.

At the end of the day, Madge was signed to put some steel in our guys. He was a defensive minded coach. In the 3 years he has been here we have gone backwards.
He might be a great coach, his record proves he can win premierships, but at the Tigers he doesn't fit.
When he first signed I was happy, thinking about time we got someone who could teach these guys how to hit hard.
Hopefully our next coach has the ability to overachieve with this squad if Madge is truly gone.

We were a country maiden strapping up on derby day at Flemington

Imo blore and brooks in our squad that have steel in their shoulders. It’s sad when you’re halfback is one of the strongest tacklers in your squad. Everyone raves about twal but don’t think there’s any opposition players that would be scared to run at him. Really makes me wonder if any coach could get them ever put on a driving tackle

I have to be honest, I'm expecting another year of the same regardless of who is coaching, given that they've told the coach through the media that he is not wanted. Coach no.7 has a challenge.
While the club appears to be in panic mode with a focus on WHO, rather than WHAT is responsible, for the Club's poor performance, I think they will continue on the same path.

Yeah bro 100%
I bet not one opposition player looks up when they get the ball trying to avoid a Tigers player.

When are our trial matches?

Friday, 18th February at Leichhardt Oval
6:00pm — Canberra Raiders vs. Sydney Roosters

**8:00pm — Wests Tigers vs. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles**

Friday, 25th February at Central Coast Stadium
6:00pm — Manly Warringah Sea Eagles vs. Canberra Raiders

**8:00pm — Sydney Roosters vs. Wests Tigers**

That 2014 grand final team was full of stars:
Inglis
Johnson
Walker
Tuqiri
Keary
Reynolds
Sutton
Burgess boys etc etc.
Do you think that tigers team from last year if coached by Bellamy or Bennett would have had any chance against that team. I don't think so.
I don't care what anyone says, a great roster is better than a great coach first and foremost but a great roster combined with a great coach is going to be successful.
A bit like a good big boxer will beat a good smaller boxer, (hence weight divisions) regardless of who's in the corner.
Since we don't have promotion or relegation (which for us is probably a good thing) we find ourselves between a rock and a hard place.
We must give Marge a team of men who are willing to spill blood for him and if he gets them and still fails then I'll submit and say 'adios'

Shame the 2nd trial isn't at LO and the first up at Gosford. First usually a mess every man & his dog getting a run
.. 2nd usually the full strength line up
