Self imposed media ban

Just a thought but I think we should ask the nrl if we can have a full media ban for the next regular seasons rounds apart from post game pressers. I know it's not good advertising and for the sponsors but if you starve the fire of oxygen the fire goes out. We as supporters will be left a little in the dark but if no one says anything nothing will make the papers

If the journalists don't get access to the direct sources, it won't stop them from citing their "sources". It's impossible to ban.

More transparency would be better. Easier said than done though..

How about the club stop making stupid decision after stupid decision and give the press nothing bad to write?

I suppose you are right if they get nothing from the ( so called board) CEO , coach and players they will just make a story up . Like I said before last weeks game was winnable we would be 7 not 11 the timing of this hitting papers sun morning just stinks of a rat. Maybe a good ploy from stgeorge

Always think of the media as a flock of squabbling seagulls. It's easy to feed seagulls. They will feed on whatever is put in front of them. Their output is that black and white stuff painted on benches and lamp posts near the coast. Unfortunately at the moment, Tigers are the bag of left over chips.

Try and block the media out and they will just hit the press harder, better to deal with them and keep the focus on the next game rather than what's happening internally at the club.

We are easy targets. It's like we have a tatoo on our forehead saying STUPID.Until the board goes or gets it right none of this is going away. I can't see them getting it right. What's the old saying "A fish rots from the head"
