Glad Ajla won. I'm prrobably going to be in the minority here but I can't stand Serena. She is one of the most 'entitled' tennis players I've seen. Whenever it suited her she'd play the race card or the female card and, earlier in her career, she seemed to have an injury whenever she suffered an unexpected loss.
Love Venus though.
 
Ajla was all class as well. Geez she played brilliantly today.

What impressed me the most though was her class without the racket.
Applauding throughout the match some outstanding points from Serena, not celebrating at the end, standing and applauding and total class in her speech. Brilliant to see.
 
It's a shame to see Serena bow out. Probably the greatest ever female player and she was always classy.

My MIL and SIL met her once and they said she was extremely nice.
