Sezer haters wont like it

No I’m def happy with him in the squad for this year. My point was if we fluked an elite half signing, having sezer on the books would be the least of our worries.

I think I'm a Sezer hater. I think I'm a Sezer hater because I'd prefer at this point to see Fainu and Sullivan and maybe even Galvin in the halves over Sezer. I only think this way because I want to see the Tigers win the comp and I can't see us doing that with Sezer in the halves.

At the same time I recognize it's a one year contract to let the other guys develop and it's not even a huge contract. There is like nothing wrong with having Sezer on our books even if we get Luai.

** Just to be clear I don't think Galvin will be ready next year.

He won’t be in NSW cup. I reckon even if we signed Luai and got him a year early (we won’t, but just saying), Sezar would be the other half. At least to start the year.
I’d like to see that. I reckon that combo could work well together. I’m hoping Sezer will surprise us all. I’ve never been a huge fan but he is definitely a better game manager than Brooks.

Of course but was luai available when we were desperate for halves? Things change. Sezer can be moved on if required.
That costs MONEY.

Yes we can move Sezer on, but we have to pay it in the CAP.

St George made a decision "we will wait". Now they are desperate for a good half... and Luai comes on the market.

We made a decision to sign a development half (latu) an experienced half that would be one of the lowest options available and a NRL half from a team which came 16th (though not saying Sullivan is a 16th player... he does come from a team that struggles. Look how Wakeham worked out).

^note happy for people to prove me wrong. I actually expect Sullivan to have moments of Brillance. We have the forward pack for him to perform + Api to deliver, so it's down to Sullivan.

The Entire 2023 season said "WERE DESPERATE FOR ANY HALFBACK". We looked Pathetic and desperate.

Hey Earl

Do you want to start a Sezer hater fan club?
If so I am in.
Full Disclosure I was a fan when he played for the Gold coast. He also did well at Canberra.
Now, the guy is 100% glue factory.
