They dont sign talent,,just look at the unsigned talent in the lower grades where about to lose….

look at the terrible signings for next year, Daniela the human Carpet that got walked over all game last week when playing for Widsor by Josh Davis and R.Pritchard. Daniela would be lucky to make the Magpies or Balmain team next year in the type of form he is in. See him going round for Campbelltown Eagles next year. Mitch (Who) Brown, I am sorry but he is not a good buy when you have Josh Davis, R.Pritchard, Nu Akipera who all deserve there chances in FG and would of been bought for alot less. And thats ex bronco who cant even stay on the park for a week. He may be a big guy for the wing but he will be out for the season if he plays in the trials cause he will be injured (AGAIN). Good work recruitment!!!! up to ur regualr standard. If Gallant doesnt get a contract, niether should anyone in recruitment next year.

True. Its starting to become a bit of a joke.

I think he'll stay.

He is Wests through and through…...Now it's just about getting his true value.....I think he'll stay too....there is still room left...

Akeripa, Pritchard, Mataka, should earn Wests Tigers contracts of some sorts Schirnack has...not too bad...gee whiz we still haven't finalised the official 2009 Roster It's Wests Tigers.....patience is required.....

Great News!!

Looks like Mighty Mouse will stay a Wests Tiger!!

The end of that article is interesting: Humphries basically says that we are not looking to sign anyone outside the club, which is bad news, but might mean they are moving on Pritchard, Akeripa etc. which would be good news.

He's earnt it over the last few years generally and last few weeks in particular.
I'm not convinced on his last line defence based on the last few weeks but am happy he's been given a contract.

It will be interesting to see the other names bought up from reserves too.
Looks like we've given up on Burgess (& any mystery props) though :frowning:

So everything I have said on this thread has turned out to be 100% correct.

Insert apologies here please.

How>>>do you get that from that article….Bug

Seems as though they are still making him a better offer even after he broke his leg.....sorta flies in the face Of Sheens luck when he got injured so he can continue to manufacture Moltzen...

I think it's you who owes the Fonz and the club an apology.....

Im talkin about my post at the start of this thread. That the Fonz wanted him around in 2010 and that the offer may be very tiny. The Fonz can apologise to me and other WT fans for his lack of forsight.

Have Wests Tigers signed Shannon Gallant yet or are they waiting to sign Joel Caine for a return to the club?

Oh I don't think they have officially signed him yet Bug…..thought we covered that in another thread

Caine can't come back brother...but Fitzy appareantly is.... ...Sheens deserves a rap for that recruitment masterstroke don't you think.....

Gallant deserves a upgrade but i dont think he will in the mix for fullback next year, his defence was found wanting in the nrl he missed a lot more than he got and that is what is going to cost him ,he will only be used if needed there will be better options

I disagree. He got / caught a lot more than other custodians in that jumper this year.

Well i think Gallant will be the dark horse and a fine fullback soon as he gets back on the field
i have high hopes for this young gentlemen
i hope hes fullback next year 2010

Wests Tigers have offered him a contract. He hasn't decide yet though. He will by a week or 2\. Hope he stays. He should probably be our fullback with Moltzen back at halfback. Even if Sheens doesn't have him as our first choice fullback, he is a very good backup…

Did North Queensland Cowboys just snare him by upping the ante due to Matty Bowen's operation?? :brick:

If they did then he must have done the dirty on the club because last week he had agreed to a contract verbally with the club, and after letting some other players go to make room, they wouldn't let him go as well

"verbal agreement"?? That's funny. Just like Sheens makes "verbal agreements" to give players a fair go and dump them at the last minute??
