Isaac Gordon and Josh Cordoba reportedly taking legal action against the club and Dank

Tip of the iceberg you'd have to reckon

Bye Bye Sharkies , see you in Perth or CQ

What type of legal action?

Negligance Watto

They have given Dank 2 weeks to give them a list of all the supplements they were taking

Turns out they are both working up here in Gladstone I'll have to keep an eye open for them

Josh cordoba is back in Sydney & is heading to France to play. if anyone has a case against the sharks it would Isaac Gordon who has health issues resulting from his time at the sharks.

D Day for the Sharks today

Will they accept the NRL conditions and fines

I don't think they have an option , with players now beginning to take legal action they just won't be able to fight this legally on so many different fronts

There ignorance and self-righteousness will ensure they attempt to challenge this…

Look for a play in Round 1 to re-enstate the coach through the fans...

On Foxsports Summertime it was reported that the Sharks are challenging on the grounds that the NRL were negligent for letting them run their club without a CEO.

Flannagan is challenging on the grounds that he didn't have enough support staff.

So now the fine is the full $1Mill and the coach is out for the full year. That all should be doubled just for stupidity.

The last board had the smarts but were kicked out. I'm thinking that the Sharks are slowly sinking away. They only have themselves to blame. Bunch of dunces

Ah well good news for you CQ

At least in 3-4 years you will have NRL games in Rocky , even if it just watching the Sharks

Would be ironic if the Sharks were moved to Perth given the cull that is going on over there at the moment.

As Rockhampton is a good 40km from the coast, maybe this could be their mascot if they move there:

Wait until ASADA get stuck into them. If the NRL is imposing penalties like this, God only knows what ASADA might have on them.

Happy, do you really believe that CQ will ever get an NRL team?

I don't, not ever

Honestly if the Sharks relocate it will be a two horse race imo between Perth or CQ

Perth is the logical choice , but logic isn't something the NRL hierarchy always use

Qld needs another team , personally I think Ipswich should be the next place to get a side but I don't think relocating a side to Ipswich is the answer

In my opinion, Perth are a shoe-in for the next expansion team, so could wait a little and get the team they want. Qld have a few different bids, so none are guaranteed. Any one of those could latch onto the Sharks to get in.

I agree to a point Juro , but then you have to be concerned how long until the NRL admits some new sides

It has already been delayed once , who is to say if the climate isn't right next time the new teams are looking to be admitted that the NRL doesn't change it mind again

WA rugby league won't live on hope forever

I don't think relocation would work. If I live in Central Queensland or Perth or even the Central Coast and I don't follow the Sharks, why would I if they moved to my town? They'd need a new identity to win over new fans.
If the Sharks do come to the point where they are going to go belly up, I'd prefer it if the NRL would let the Sharks die and admit a new team.

from asking around and all, I think a Brisbane II would work, and a Perth is guarunteed for the next expanion. But would Ipswich work??

I am bit surprised we have not heard anymore on the results from ASADA inquiry.
I suppose they are waiting for the league season to start.
