Cronulla have continued the restructure of their forward pack for the 2012 season by announcing the signings of hooker Isaac De Gois and props Mark Taufua and Jon Green.

The signing of an entire new front row was deemed necessary following the departures of Kade Snowden to Newcastle and Luke Douglas to Gold Coast, and comes on the back of the recruitment of Andrew Fifita and Bryce Gibbs from Wests Tigers and the mid-season acquisition of Sam Tagataese from Gold Coast.

Word is….. Anthony Tupou

Tupou would be a gun signing in my opinion for any club. Hes one of those guys who has sort of gone under the radar but is still playing decent footy. He really struggled for the first year or two playing behind a terrible side.

Hes in a position where you woudlnt have to pay him a huge contract, but he could still be one of the better backrowers running around. To me it a similar situation to what Richards and Hodgson were in back in 04 when we signed them. They have the potential to be the best players in there positions in the comp and you wouldnt have to pay them the big $$$ … just been down on there luck for a few years.

I don't rate Tupou that highly. Showed amazing potential back in his debut year 2004 at the Roosters, but never managed to kick on from there.
