Sharks Trial: LIVE GAME THREAD

Sharks were terrible. I know it's ony a trial but they will get the spoon if that's anything to go by.

Good to see Lui playing well, very impressed with his long kicking game, which has been a problem for us in recent years.

Mullaney was pretty quiet, didn't get much of an opportunity with ball in hand.

Btw does anyone know why Fitzhenry didn't play? Not that I'm complaining…

I read somewhere - might be in this thread - that he has a groin injury. (Not complaining either)

Thanks for the updates everyone. Good to hear the boys had a good win. Willow will do his famous match report soon. I am looking forward to reading how everyone went.

A fine performance from half-back Robbie Lui has led Wests Tigers to a 36-12 trial victory over Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford, tonight.

Lui and hooker and captain Robbie Farah were the catalysts for the victory off a strong performance by the Wests Tigers forwards.

However it was Lui, who turned 20 this week, whose creativity and footwork caused problems for the Sharks in a seven tries to two victory.

The good news for Wests Tigers is that it appears there are no injuries from the trial win as the team now prepares for its round one clash against Manly at the SFS on Monday, March 15.

Hybrid posted back somewhere that Cayless looked slow & unfit unfortunately.

It will take him a while to get his legs back unfortunately.

No wonder why we won! (joking)

Cayless was a bit better in the second half and made a couple of nice offloads, but still looks well short of fitness.

Moors looks like one to watch, has a great offload, probably tries it too much but he looks dangerous.
