Shaun Fensom overlooked for Country Origin

Is this a joke or what? This bloke has to be one of the toughest, most determined players in the NRL and he can't even get a look in in a side filled with rookies and nuffies. I can't believe it. I thought he was a roughie for Origin this year but apparently not even playing good enough (149 metres, 55 tackles on the weekend) for this joke of a game.

And the game is being played a stones throw from his home town! Travesty. Barrett ought to be pimp slapped.

Fensom is a good club player ,but don't see him as a SOO player

I can handle the argument's against him playing Origin, though I disagree, but to not be selected for Country is mind boggling to me when you see others that have been.

sadly for Fensom Merrin switched to lock this year and has been on form the best player in the NRL almost.

Fensom isn't an edge backrower, hence his missing out.

Personally I would have had him on the bench and rotated Merrin into prop at some stage but that is the choice the selectors made

I really like having at least one workhorse tackling machine in your forward pack. Adds a lot of balance. I reckon he'd be great at origin, kinda like gary Larson, Ashley Harrison sort of player. Does heaps of the un-flashy work that goes unnoticed.
