Shawn Blore #235

Blore thinks if madden had hit him with a pass instead of kicking he was in for a try in the corner.

i actually went back and checked that

i 100% think blore is correct

we had a massive overlap on that wing, if the kick made it through best either blore or douehi gets there imho

but if he hit blore short he would of prob either ran thru that gap into the corner for a try or sent douehi over

Can't see him losing his spot this week, although I take nothing for granted after last weeks team sheet.
He's still ahead of schedule with his return from injury, so I expect him to improve each week as match fitness comes back.
Jeez this bloke can tackle though, he's not one that needs to 'find his shoulders'...

He should be playing big minutes in the Reggie's this week that's the only way you shed and get match fit not sit on the bench and play10mins if lucky.

Just watching it back he did really well in his first game back. His defence was excellent, took some real good carries up the middle and ran nice lines on the edge

Excited to see him get more and more minutes every week

Yep pity madden didn’t come up with the right option, would of been a big moment for him, the try scorer are would of finished the game much more positive.

Was a real shame the way we finished.

Any update on blore?

Hugely over rated by WTF. Yet to show his challenge on Nathan Brown wasn’t a one hit wonder.

Lol bro life isn't all that bad. Lighten up.

Some dudes need some chill pills.

The stats state Blore has played 11 top grade games and has 49 average running metres per game and 100% tackle efficiency this year.

He is going okay. We need more from him or we need to go to market but ideally both. His defense has been good though. He needs to add a lot more to his attack. Let's see how he develops. We should stick with him.

Thanks for the reasoned response. My point stands that his 10 mins against Parra was a flash in the pan on evidence in front of me. As always, hope to be wrong next game ?

I don't think he is quite fit enough yet

Some strapping on his knee suggests he is also carrying a niggling injury

Lots of improvement yet to come from him

I get it. It's the same as heaps of our players though. We need them to step up and be stars. There are very few players like that in the comp.

Outside of the top 5-6, who have difference makers everywhere.

he's played about 11 games over a three year period. people are far too impatient. has a far better defensive technique than most of our squad and hits the line with venom. this year is about building his workload and getting him used to first grade. with 40-50 first grade games under his belt he'll be as good as Liam Martin, mark my words.

I asked Adam Hartigan earlier this year who were the best talents coming through. He said Daine Laurie was special (we hadn't secured his release yet but he had signed for 2022) and Shawn Blore. He said if Blore is able to stay fully fit, you watch how much he is capable of.

I had a good chat to him at the first Ambush event at Wests Ashfield, good kid. Especially because it seems to me that I can't relate to half the 20 year olds I come across nowadays, so it was good to talk to a young fellow who didn't say "like" or "bro" 100 times and was able to stay off his phone whilst engaging with the fans.
