Exactly .. Blore has plenty of aggression, hits hard and loves the dirty work hitting the ball up and making plenty of post contact meters. Still young and recovering from a knee recon and more recently recovering from a broken wrist .. he looks to be carrying a few extra meat pies .. but its his motor most are concerned about, can he do long minutes out there .. ?? I too hope he can maintain a good playing weight and up his playing minutes .. !! Madge likes what the young fellow brings to the side in aggression as the other forwards funny enough lift their game when he comes on .. !!

Shawn, like the rest of our forwards, is low on work rate. Some need more of a rocket than others, but if Madge can somehow extract even 10% more effort and ethic out of all of them then we might have a decent platform to compete each week.

It’s all potential at this stage with Blore he’s hardly an established first grader but looks likely. If he stays injury free he will be a damaging edge backrower.

Yeah I watched his 2nd half stint and boy he is a solid defender. Every tackle stuck.
I think he will be a real asset for middle.
Not much opportunity in attack or on the score of effective ball release but with time if he shows / adds that to his repertoire than we’re on a winner.

His defence reminds of Gareth Ellis. Obviously he has a long way to go to get to Ellis’ level, but he’s one of the few players we have that gets excited about tackling someone.

I think recovering from injuries, answers his engine issue. Obviously the more game time (whatever grade) will see him at his best.

Can't see him losing his spot this week, although I take nothing for granted after last weeks team sheet.
He's still ahead of schedule with his return from injury, so I expect him to improve each week as match fitness comes back.
Jeez this bloke can tackle though, he's not one that needs to 'find his shoulders'...
