Purely from a "what can he bring us on the park" I would take back Moses and Tedesco, but not Woods. From a "how they left us" standpoint, time has softened my stance on this for Moses and Tedesco, but not for Woods. Why is this?Plus his 30 next year
Moses: If my workplace pulled my contract offer and said the reason why was they were focusing their effort on keeping someone else, I (and I'm sure a lot of others) would feel dirty about this. I don't think he intended on tanking, it just happened. I think it was more a case of not giving 100% in response to feeling let down. I was filthy at the time though.
Tedesco: Taking off my orange and black and white glasses for a moment, if all I tasted in my career was 9th placed finishes, despite all my best efforts, with no hint of GF in my future and I am being courted by a team where money is no object, I would be foolish not to go. Now that he's achieved everything in the game, if a starting spot is pretty much guaranteed and the cash is a little higher (than what the Roosters offer next contract), why not go back to the Tigers or even some other club?
Woods: Was the captain of the club, should have been the one trying to keep everyone at the club, like Faf a few years earlier with Tedesco/Canberra. Instead lead the charge out the door. Had the money, the prestige etc at our club, but threw it all away. Sorry mate, no take-backs.
