Just read in the RLW he is signed to Dragons for 2011.

Wayne will probably make him an Origin Player in 12 months…

Well Beau Scott played Origin this year so it's not out of the question.

They'll turn him into a decoy running cat like Creagh. That said, all the best to him. If he's clearly not getting the opportunities here, he's more than entitled to chase them elsewhere.

Wayne Bennet knows talent.

It's why he coaches dynastys of teams playing finals football and Sheens does not

Even taking his contract with the Dragons into account how would playing a guy in better form than Skando be of detriment to the club? Unless Skando will be playing next year as well of course. Otherwise neither guy will be with the club and it should come down to form

I am still not convinced Skando will even play on Monday night though

I've said it elsewhere but for all the wacko selections, we are still coming third. We should have realised long ago that State Cup players unfortunately just aren't in the mix for NRL selection. I just hope those players get a chance elsewhere and can make a good fist of it

The day the Fonz leaves this club, will be greatest day in the clubs history and the clubs talent will rejoice !!

Yep the 2005 premiership was a horrible day for this club and cannot compare.

Are you crediting the Fonz with that achievement ? if so then I take it you will also credit him for making the semi's only once in his 8 seasons with us is that right ?

I didnt mention any credit. My only issue is your perception of what is the greatest day for the club. That seemed pretty self-evident to me.

Could it be a cap issue?
Im not well versed on the cap but I know bringing in certain contracted players counts towards nexty years cap.
I dunno what deal Skando has going, maybe this is a way around it?

i can't see a plus or minus for our cap.
his contract would now become a part of the 350k 2nd tier cap.
because we have used hardly anyone from outside our top 25 there should be plenty of space there.
the only part that carries to next year are his appearance fee or win bonus for the game like every other player.
the magic number for the win bonus is 13 wins.
if fitzy played in 16 of our wins only 13 go toward the cap for next year.
