Started back into weapons training recently. Smacked myself in the face with the training Nunchucks, they are padded.Didn't mind a scrap back in the day, being a Balmain boy, but these days I find it hard enough getting off the floor after just lying down watching tv, let alone getting knocked down and trying to get back up.
Moderation is the key.Old age is like getting stoned . The mind has all these fascinating idea's .But the body say's No..
Awesome. Although Nunchucks are one of the worst self defense weapons around.Started back into weapons training recently. Smacked myself in the face with the training Nunchucks, they are padded.
It bloody still hurts and took bark off my nose.
Ouch, don't feel bad mate we can't all rise to the level of Bruce Lee.Started back into weapons training recently. Smacked myself in the face with the training Nunchucks, they are padded.

Yeah they are not really a defensive weapon. But as a young fanatic they were my first. My training ones back then were 2 pieces of conduit and some fly screen retainer as the chain. Conduit stings like you been slapped in the face by a bullwhip. But they are easy to just stand there and get the rhythm, while I slowly get back into things after being crook.Awesome. Although Nunchucks are one of the worst self defense weapons around.
.. That said, damn they look impressive.
Keep at it mate this might be possible.Started back into weapons training recently. Smacked myself in the face with the training Nunchucks, they are padded.

Try a chair or sofaDidn't mind a scrap back in the day, being a Balmain boy, but these days I find it hard enough getting off the floor after just lying down watching tv, let alone getting knocked down and trying to get back up.
Oh it’s possible, all that is a big dance.Keep at it mate this might be possible.
I was more of a Grasshopper fan.Oh it’s possible, all that is a big dance.
But two dudes who know what they’re doing, it’s wild.
Muscle memory will have me back in the rhythm soon.
I did, I missed....Try a chair or sofa
Mmmmm cheese and bacon rolls. You nearly lost me, but I hung in there and to my surprise I found something new!!!I purchased the last 2 #6 packs of cheese and bacon rolls from Woolies recently.
They were on spl. for $5.90 per pack, but when I scanned them at the self-serve check out, they showed as being $6.45 per pack.
I told the young lady supervising they were incorrectly priced, so she got someone to check and sure enough they were $5.90 each.
I mentioned I thought the policy was if incorrectly priced you got the 1st article free then 2nd article $5.90.
I didn't push the point, but the shop assistant apparently knew nothing of that.
I rang the store today to speak to the manager but was cut off both times before I got thru to him/her.
The rolls are rubbish imo compared to the same at Coles.

What is this policy you speak of?
“If incorrectly priced you get the first one for free!!!”
Do real estate shops do this?
What about the Ferrari shop? I’m certain they are incorrect priced, they have no Ute tray?
Thanks Mikey and @BZN![]()

As agreed, revenge is a best served cold and those baskets are perfect for hanging on to icy cold revenge.Hey I reckon you might enjoy this one.
Many years ago I was at the Minchinbury Bunnings, and I use to keep a couple of their baskets in the Ute in case I couldn’t park inside. One day on the way out with my basket full (and paid for), a 15yo said you can’t take those anymore and gave me a tiny little box. Well I decided that was the day I would start collecting Bunnings baskets. I now have a very healthy collection. The last 10 years I’ve branched out into Coles, Woolies, IGA, etc. The other day I walk past a park bench and there was a lonely Woolies basket just asking to be shown a good home, it almost jumped in the Ute on its own. Sometimes Mrs BF will shake her and say not another one? But I didn’t have a Woolies one with a black handle.
Square ups come in all shapes and sizes and sometimes you need a basket to carry them around.
ive seen a local shop owner put their head in the front display cabinet and shout that the butcher was a fkn donkeyMmmmm cheese and bacon rolls. You nearly lost me, but I hung in there and to my surprise I found something new!!!

WOW!!! what a great, but painful story mikey. As agreed, revenge is a best served cold and those baskets are perfect for hanging on to icy cold revenge.
Here's another story - I bought a 1955 Matchless back in 84. Had it 3 days and decided to ride it to the pub to show the lads.
Filled it up and was heading to assigned pub when a kid on P plates pulled out of stop sign on me. I centre-punched his 2 door Torana and pushed the side in a good foot. I also took a short flight across the roof and landed on the deck - the bike blew up in flames, just like in a good Bond film.
Kid comes over and says sorry; then in the same breath "Can you tell the police it wasn't my fault". Needless to say I declined the request with a 'Sorry but go [This word has been automatically removed] yourself'.
Ambo came and carted me off to Bankstown Hospital. Had some nice gas on the way. Luckily, the injuries were minimal.
Had his address and went round with the old man 3 days later. Kid and his father were there. Apologised profusely, said he couldn't afford to fix his car, and didn't have a job but they would sort out the money.
2 weeks go by and I hadn't heard from them. I rang and the father tells me to have sex with myself. Mikey was not a happy chappy.
Next morning go round there around 6:30 in my clapped out TC Cortina. Don't ask me why but I took my Olympus with tele lens too.
Here's the kid backing out of his driveway; Torana side pulled out with totally new spray job and on his way to work. I tried following in the TC but alas he was gone so I went back to his parents.
Old man is outside waiting for me and starts abusing me. I calmly pulled out the Olympus and started pretending to take photos of the house. He asks what I'm doing -my reply? "Just taking photos of my house cause your legally responsible for him." You could imagine his face (even though it was total bullshit).
He rings me next day to say his solicitor had told there was no way he was responsible. My response was my solicitor says differently.
2 days later I had my money minus 250 dollars (I figured take what you can).
2 years later compo payout came through - 7.5K. Asked the solicitor if that was good. He told me he couldn't believe they gave me that much.
He then asked what I would do with the money. My reply was I was going to buy the new Laverda. which incidentally was 7.5k. He called me a [This word has been automatically removed]wit and dragged me to St George to open a term deposit.
Best thing anyone has done for me as it paid for me going to and living in Japan twice, which changed my life entirely - met my wife there and the rest is history.
Thanks BZN. You're = bad things can turn out good.WOW!!! what a great, but painful story mikey.
The Matchless were very popular way back then from memory.
My eldest brother had a BSA Bantam D3 or later for a few years.
I had a 650cc Yamaha??? for a couple of years and had some stupid old dh do the same thing to me but luckily, I was able to avoid a collision.
There's some real trash in this world eh!
The kid was trash because his father was trash.
Great way to bring a kid up.
But isn't it amazing how sometimes 'from little/bad things...big/good things grow'.
The accident couldn't have been much worse, but the outcome 🤩🥰couldn't have been better for you.
Ps... I did look at a few of your bike ride videos thru Japan that you kindly put on here a while back. Very interesting.
The good thing now is you have a helmet camera, so if anything happens in the future you've got it recorded.
And strangely I've been looking at dash cams on my comp. for the last couple of days, and the one that caught my eye was a VIOFO [A329S 2ch] brand as it has all the features I need.
Do you or anyone else know anything about this brand or any other they can recommend?
