Should Teddy and Moses play a RTS/Mini role

this is a really good thread topic, and if moses were more experienced, i would be all for it. however, the name of the game this season is pretty much getting moses (and brooks) the experience they need to become the playmakers people see they can become.

i know lockyer played fullback and transitioned to a great 6, but moving moses would undermine his (possibly already fragile?) confidence and would be a backwards step for his development imo. the strategy is they are going with him at 5/8th and the thought seems he needs to stay there to improve.

maybe he is coming along slower than a lot of people had hoped, but for mine his chip and chase last week was a really promising sign (hey, if sandow was at fullback it probably wouldve come off!! :laughing🙂 and defensively he has already come along in leaps and bounds.

i reckon he is doing okay, and teddy is killing it.

just watching under 21's 1st half. I know alot of people on here have said moses should make way Te marie martin. From what I have seen he will not handle NRL and his execution in some of the plays has been a let down. Thats not to say he wont be a star of the future, but he is not 1st grade material. Moses is playing to a structure that is effecting his game, he also is probably playing at 82kg. he will need and extra 5kg over the break. all the good 5/8 are 85kg plus. He also needs to have at least 50 NRL games under his belt before he knows what he is really doing. I think once he gets there this team will fire. Brooks needs this combo for his own good. they know each others game. I think the two 20yr old halves will be the best combo in the nrl within 3 yrs/…..

Na… Keep them where there at but we should buy a Gareth Ellis type so he can cover for Moses/Brooks in defence. I wish we could of gotten Scott on a 2 year deal...

One player cannot cover two weak defenders, we can handle one , but even a good team would be up against it to hide Two players,
More than one team has a weakness but we aren't a strong team, and we have Two targets

We'll it's either that or we put Moses back in nsw cup and buy a time machine to get Austin back…

I can live with that, or even just the first part

I've been wondering all year about the possibility of Tedesco at 5/8th. He's a remarkable athletic talent and gels well with Luke Brooks, hence I've thought about him making the Lokyer transition to get more involved in attack. Swapping Tedesco and Moses for say 20 minutes a game would let us test the theory.

Always surprises me what people read. Or interpret that shopuld be.

I cant think of any one post where someone has said he should replace Moses at the moment.

Plenty saying they like him and they hope we keep him but none really saying what you are saying they say.
