Should we scream at the WT's with our wallets in 2020

What drama is going on atm to warrant this thread? We're on the edge of the 8 for Christ sake. Try being a Dogs fan atm. I remember when I used to laugh how Woods signing with them blew up in his face. I was told over and over ''The Dogs never stay down long'' ''the Dogs don't tolerate mediocrity''. 2 years on and i'm still waiting for the resurgence

Guess it far easier to follow @Geo method .....stick your head in the sand..... and hope we somehow in the next 20 seasons we stumble onto a magic wand or a Jeannie's bottle perhaps

@happy_tiger Pascoe is a fool and part of the problem what a light weight that interview last night just highlighted that . Just keep rolling out the same crap Mate ! , if you want to see the biggest congregation of losers tonight just look across to the Western side of BankWest Stadium they will enjoying the dinning room then onto the executive seating area . The real losers are not on the field wake up all !!!!

Gee ....I dunno GNR ..... I reckon I could have used your exact same argument every season since 2011 ...we are only 2 points out of the 8 ......we are going on another spending splurge in 2 seasons ...hang in there .....we got it wrong last time but this time .......

Somehow as fans we need to find a way to make this club accountable for its actions

You don't think it is deserved .....really

@happy_tiger There are those that are told relentlessly to jump and there answer is how high ! Not all of us are the same ...

lol..Iv'e said 3 times now if people think your proposal will work and magically turn things around go for it..I'm telling you it won't make one bit of difference to those running the Club or the decisions that they make...

We aren't travelling to bad ATM as it is on the field still have the destiny in our own hands with half a season to go

Maybe just have a Bex and a good lie down you might feel better..

Before you jump up too far on your high horse, you still posting on this forum proves you haven't given up on the club either. So you're no better than the rest of us.

Should we speak to the WT's with our wallets in 2020 That is my question

I woke up this morning and am thinking of telling the family to get me a BCF voucher for the same amount of a WT's membership

After listening to Pascoe last night on NRL 360 we are again in another rebuilding phase which will start in 2021 when we roll the roster over

Justin ....remind me .....is this the same roster you signed off on

Justin is this roster the same You organized for the coach You hand picked which left at the first sign of trouble

Something from the whole Cleary fiasco that stands out is this ....when Ivan was asked about Nathan coming to the WT's it was never raised during the interview process when he was hired

For me is Ivan was the "chosen one " that question HAS to be one of the first 3 questions asked , doesn't it

So as Paul Kent asked last night and you danced around better than Ali danced around the ring is this "why should WT's fans put up with another rebuild"

Why should WT's we potentially face a minimum of 11 years without a finals appearance

Last night's interview just about broke my spirit as a WT's supporter

So if or when Maguire doesn't take us to the promised land , the club listen to the drums beating and get tempted to sack Maguire what then ..another rebuild

I can't find last nights interview to attach it this thread , but if someone can it would be greatly appreciated so we can give an even assessment of his thoughts

Is it just butthurt or do I and many other WT's fans have a right to be royally pissed off

Is it time we tell the club we are sick of the crap and show our disgust be not renewing our memberships .....

Thoughts

I’d like to riot at Concord...
Burn effigys and car tyres , throw bricks !

Membership lmao ...what’s that ?

Should go down to Concord and burn the place down. It'd save them on demo costs for the CoE rebuild.

Firstly how many Justin Pascoe threads are there.

Secondly the current state of rugby league in the NRL is all about turning over and monitoring your roster. There really isnt much to see here that isnt happening elsewhere.

Dont believe the hype. Maguire seems in complete control if you ask me.

We should have made finals with the big 4...if we had of had McGuire back then we would have.....Pascoe got us back into profit I’ll support him....he said well have money to recruit in 2021 that doesn’t mean Madge can’t get us into the finals before hand...think about it...by then our young guns will becoming of age too....masters, Jennings, mikaele...even Mbye, brooks and matterosn should be in their prime

Thanks for exactly making my point Geo .....

Yep ..Membership is a very very small part of financial bottom line...

What you should do is tell the Corprates to start withdrawing their support you might get somewhere then...

I'll give you the prime example the Rorters...they would be lucky to receive 1/10th of 1/5th in membership...lucky to get 3 men and a Rooster to most of their home games until finals roll around ..could not give two hoots if the have members or not..

If you would upset their Corprates watch what would change in the blink of an eye..

@GNR4LIFE For gods sake of course I support our club , I am on no high horse things need to change if you think that voicing ones opinion is being on a high horse well that is your view .
If you think that never making final series is the way to go well and good .. there is something wrong with the whole organisation there has to be hence no success, we feel it is about time the powers to be got of there rear ends as just wanting us the be financial members year after year when absolutely nothing changes has to stop ...we’ll i suppose if that is being on a high horse 🐎

I just watched the interview and I thought that Pascoe handled the situation really well. I don't think the club is in that bad a situation. We do have some players that are being paid overs and we need to get those contracts off our books but overall it sounded to me like the club was fairly well managed.

It should be pointed out that just about every big contract signing was fairly well supported on this forum. Packer, Matulino, Taylor, Reynolds. So to pin the blame on Pascoe for signing off on the deal is a bit rich imo.

We wouldn't be having this discussion if we had their playing record since 2011

Corporates won't be interested in sponsoring sides in empty stadiums

Will it take a wooden spoon before anyone does anything

Yet when we become the side most focussed on to be relocated everyone can't understand why ...lets think of some of the arguments ...."But we have already become a joint venture " , what about Manly , what about Cronulla , what about Saints

Quick reminder ...we have the worst win / lose record of every club still in existence since 1999 , almost as many home grounds as wins this season , a roster that most clubs would laugh about , and are about as attractive recruitment / retention wise as a rabid , man eating grizzly bear's cave

Yeah, I've had a gutfull of the constant rebuild phase loop also. it astounds me that memberships are always increasing while the club stumbles and fumbles its way through salary cap stuff ups and mediocre performances year after year. Must be a lot of masochists out there! Either that or the club is lying about membership numbers...but they wouldn't do that, would they?

Yep I agree...Ive had 3 WT memberships continuous since 2011, I doubt we will make the 8 this year, 2020 or 2021. It will make me question whether to renew again next year(but most likely will anyways.. 🙂 )

You are now ranting about nothing that has to do with your original proposal..at least stick to the Original thought..

Yeah admittedly I was OK with Packer and Reynolds. Matulino I was a little pensive about due to past injuries but Packer was playing good footy with the Dragons and Reynolds had success with the Dogs.

Yes that will help...not..

The Club is what matters not the individuals that make it up..the Club will always have my financial support as they have since 2000...taking it away only hurts the Club further but each to there own..

Maybe a rally might help with placards and pitch forks or wear your jersey inside out...

So how do your actions help the club .......

Basically you are telling them its OK if they continually screw up

Do you use the same mentality when you buy a car , buy a pie that tastes like crap , have a Dr who makes errors , pick a real estate agent who can't sell your house , buy sub standard furniture ,electrical , a financial advisor who stuffs up your future finances ......

So withdrawing financial support will make them make better decisions..lol

Good luck with that..as I said each to there own...If people think it will help go for it..

Membership money would equate to nothing ..
Would be lucky to pay for an honesty session at Kiama .
I say we riot !
You could even burn an effigy of happy
( by mistake).

@happy_tiger .... buy a yabbie pump son!
