Lol too funny! These days all the players are doing. Some less obvious than others. Thats instructed by the coaching staff to gain advantage. Strategies like this been around forever and obvious, so problem is with all playing the game.

It's actually been around a long time. I can remember Bob Fulton putting on a chip and chase and the next thing he's sprawled on the ground like someone had hit him with a bazooka. When you looked at the replay no-one had made contact with him. Of course the referee whose eyes were on the ball would always give him the penalty, particularly Greg Hartley. Steve Mortimer was another one who did it from time to time.

The ref wouldn't of awarded anything for us the other night.
He was doing everything to help out Penrith.

I really believe if our boys didn't lie down, nothing would of happened.

Smart play by Laurie and Luciano later in the game.

Gutho is a dead set flop.

Kikau has also been 1 of the biggest actors in the game for a long time now so Dane just used his own move against him.

I think its bad for the game and we would all be angry if a player popped up smiling if he was playing against us. Unfortunately the high hits would be missed if players don't stay down and if the other teams are doing it we have to as well.

Why all the focus on Laurie for doing it? The Panthers were deadset appealing it half the time they were coming out of their own end. They were far worse than us when it came to refbaiting and imo, it is worse to feign injury and not admit to it than what Laurie did.

It's not like the bloke winked at the camera or something. Do we even know what he was smiling about? To me it looked like he was laughing because he knew the Panthers had screwed up and got caught. Apparently getting hit late and high and smiling about it isn't okay.

Sounds like Gutha is worried that he can't get past teddy or turbo. With Dane coming through he might have a lower step on the ladder. Been spending to much time with the turd we flushed away abit ago.

Laurie gets up with a big grin after just about everything. Gus Gould even commented on it in a recent match. He said something to the effect of "he just loves footy so much. If he was driving home and saw some kids playing he'd pull over and join in".
He just seems like a genuinely good bloke who feels like he's living his dream. And he also seems like a crack up. I love having him at our club.
