Bleed as many young guys as possible

Round 16 is the cut off date for outside of top 30 correct?

I’m not sure, I thought we could play dev players now?

Is this some sort of Viking ritual that I'm unaware of

Yes, and we’ll be sacrificing our worst player at the end of the game on the halfway line.

Well there are very few players deserving to be picked after the Knights.

Reynolds gets a gig again - Drop Benji maybe he might realize after being dropped again that its time to hang up the boots this season, Madge will give him a swan song closer to the end of the season.

Mybe - To the bench or dropped completely make the hard call Madge for yoir own sake, other players don't respect his effort.

Brooks - 50/50 did not see enough of his game.

Lawrence - deserves a spot on the bench at least.

Packer - Only forward that made meters.

There are some suggestions, glad i am not the coach not much choice.

Packer made less than 40 metres.

30 to be precise, and the least of all our forwards, and he's the highest paid.

Just watched a news item on Ch7 on AD about the emotional display after the game on Saturday ssid it was partly the results and and the events that happened in Lebanon and said he wasn't mentally right for the game and Madge spoke to him at half time.
It was to late if he felt he wasn't mentally right should have put his hand up and withdrew the team could have have easily been reshuffled J REY and GARNER were there and available to play.

AJ ran 160+ metres and looked strong carrying the footy. If he didn’t drop the ball 5 times he probably would’ve got 200+ metres, let’s see if those same issues are there next time he plays or if it was a one off before writing him off. His footwork and strength looked real good

Who is AJ?

Asu Kepaoa - nickname is AJ according to the club

Thats a good way to remove the deadwood from the club. Now who should be the first sacrifice ?

You can play the development players from Round 16.
Think Madge will be giving them an opportunity to prove themselves.

Kane Bradley - Winger 101kg - 196cm (6ft 5) - has some height
Jock Madden - Halfback - Give him a run over Brooks
Zac Cini - Centre
Reece Hoffman - Centre has another 2 years
Jake Simpkin - Hooker has another 1 year

I'd like to see Bradley given a go. Hoffman deserves another chance and I'd give Madden a run too. Simpkin for next year and Cini needs to learn to tackle before he goes any higher.

I think that it will important to judge these Players as some finish there development contracts this season, I would certainly give the Winger a Go as his height and weight seem good stats just has to be able to catch the ball.
Halfback is a given need to make some decisions on Brooks and have a back up plan, think he has been given years to develop and not a game manager.

Development players have been eligible all season - unless you’re talking about next season? They’ll all be in our top 30 next year bar Hoffman (or if they let them move to rival clubs)

Development players can play now..have been able for the season due to Covid..

Hoffman already played a game for us...Jai Field played for Parra when slimey was out ..some guy played for the Rorters last week as did Laurie for the Pamfers..

Well Madge should be giving them a run at least - I stand corrected if that's the case, could not di any worst after last weeks effort?

Well that sounds like the old Monty python where players that don't want to play take a step backwards, might not get a team on the park.....

I feel for Madge at the moment... Deep down I think he wants to drop Mbye and Benji but knows the fallout he and the club will get considering we are struggling would be horrendous.
The media are complaining already about him using 6 different halves combos this year but don't understand he needs to try something as the quality is just not there. (plus injuries)
Everywhere you look someone has different ideas but for me this week i would go with -
1 - AD / 6 Brooks / 7 Benji / 9 Josh Reynolds / 14 - Liddle but not at all confident.
I would love to maybe try Madden but as there is a very very very slight chance still of making the finals we need to stick to experience first. But on the other side you don't want to bring Madden in against a side like Roosters, Eels, Panthers but the dogs game would make more sense for development...

Benji really, O'Brien a first year coach worked him out and targeted him, Benji was our worst player, and that is saying something as we had plenty, time to let go of the past, it is a proven failed formula, we have better options

Media are clowns, who cares. A few weeks back they were lauding him for his tough stance on dropping players who didn't meet his "high expectations" - a few losses later and they are riding him for making too many changes...cant win...who cares - Madges call.

Absolutely. Personally I wouldn't have Reynolds there either. Play Madden or put AD there. Season over, no point giving spots to players not in our future plans.
