Kennedy and Fensom are both signed for next year. From the Raiders perspective they're going to be much happier to get rid of Shaun Fensom who is on good money and not in their top 17 than Jarrad Kennedy who isn't on a lot and is a more versatile depth player. You can't always get what you want...

I like hearing about the Bulldogs doing a big clean-out. I'm hoping this could benefit us in some manner in signing players being played by other clubs.

But I'm not convinced about the Lichaa. However, I would take Klemmer or Jackson?!

Vaughan is one of the most under-rated Forwards in the game. Love his engine and guile and is an Ava with Quad Turbos. Would walk straight into our pack. I say 'pack' as I think he could play on an edge as well as Prop. If he was a Queenslander, he would be an origin player by now!

I mentioned it the other day, but Idris usually gets 1 good season out of the clubs he has played for. Why not give him a 1 year deal with options in the clubs favour for a 2nd. The choice is really his!

Vaughan and Idris would do wonders for us. We are lackintg that go hard aggressive forward and a decent centre. We would go to another level with them 2.

While it seems every other team is cleaning up their roster, surely some of our roster has to be tapped on the shoulder and told to move on. Id be doing whatever i can to get them two players.

In regards to Lichaa, what a flop. Supposedly on $550k, his service is terrible. No kicking game, and cant pass the ball both ways. With Cook on the way to the sharks, cant see anyon to keen on his services. If we are interested in him then our recruitment team need to be sacked.

Shaun Fenson might be an Option for us if E.T doesn't agree to terms with us . Fenson is lingering in Reserve Grade and could be on the outer at the Raiders ,

i would think we could get fensom a bit cheaper than et, but fensom is on around 500k a year and we dont know how much the raiders would want to subsidise that

Would be stunned if Fensom is on anything near $500 000, he isnt worth anything remotely near that IMO. Gets through plenty of defence but is worthless in attack. 500k for a tackling machine seems way way too much.
Idris would have a massive upside if his heart and head were intent on putting in the hard work required. But that is a very big if. Worth a punt IMO, has power and the height to be a target for our kickers with the high ball to the flanks.
Vaughn would be fantastic for us, would be great to see WT management be able to pull that signing off.

Wouldn't go near Licha, but a massive yes on Vaughn and would take the risk on Idris depending on the $.

Regarding the Bulldogs clean out, if that was the case I would go straight to Kasiano, may be an unpopular opinion but he would be very vital for a team like us.

Klemmer has just been resigned, they will not release him.

Jackson would be a solid pickup. Can't believe we didn't get on Finucane before he went to Melbourne.

We tried for Finucane. We chose the Storm over us, and won't be changing his mind anytime soon.

Don't need Lichaa at all. Has never kicked on from his junior promise. He would just be going to the UK to free up cap space for the dogs.

Fensom has gone steadily down hill in recent years. No thanks, ET adds much more.

Vaughn would command maybe 400k, next to no chance we could sign him on that too.

Canberra are going to have one heck of a salary cap problem in the near future. They've got a million dollars worth of players in nsw cup, have been signing mid-season recruits on big money and already have others on big money or some needing big upgrades.

Well there you go! For 500k the Raiders obviously had higher hopes for Fensom than what panned out. If he is worth 500k, then Taumalolo is worth a couple of mill a season going by that scale!

it was reported on Foxsport that the Cowboys are tabling a 1.2 mil per year deal for Taumalolo

If that's the case with Grant and Vaughan ends up staying in Canberra then we need to be chasing Sam Moa - aggressive, impacting forward off the bench who is off contract now. Come on WT go after him!!
