Compare his performances to our existing 2nd rowers. We have the worst 2nd row in the competition.

Exactly, JT should have at least put him in first grade, he had plodders like Rankin, Lovett and co every week. Siro ran good lines and had decent defence, he looked unfit or disinterested, probably due to being thrown out of the team while plodders incorporated kept their spots every week.

Didn't we want accountability? Siro had years of coasting without consequence but we're bagging the former coach for dropping him. Seems pretty convenient .

Accountability? Give me a break. Lovett, Rankin, Lawrence all kept their spots throughout the year and they never played a good 80 minutes between them. He never made players accountable, he picked favourites.

Why didn't Rankin,Lovet, Kev just to name a few get dropped as well, JT talked accountability but never practiced it. If Siro deserved to be dropped so did half the team, but they never were, convenient my backside JT was just full of hollow promises.

I'd take all 3 of those players over Siro.

Because it's impossible to drop an entire squad. When you are in the cap position we put ourselves in over the last few years, you have to grin and bare it.

Rankin, Lovet and Kev played way worse than Siro and they kept their spot, why drop Siro then, why preach accountability then, our coach sucked, but luckily he is gone.

Siro had no heart. The others at least had a go.

I can't believe this. Pretty much everyone on this forum was screaming for Sirro's head - 'a bludger', 'living off his father's name', 'lazy', 'imposter', 'reserve grader'. These are just some of the criticisms that were lavished upon him endlessly and pretty much without rebuttal from anyone.
Now all of a sudden the armchair experts want him back - 'a mistake to let him go', 'always thought he'd come good' …
Just no pleasing some people.

Not everyone. There are a few of us who rate Curtis and his ability to be creative. JT loved the five hit ups and the defensive bomb which is not conducive to creative rl.

He has played on good game this year. I did not see most of yesterdays game (gee 6pm is a stupid time for game) but my main criticism of him here was an unwillingness to do the dirty work when the team was under pressure.
How many runs/metres from yesterday were in those circumstances?

Oh dear. Sirro creative?
I have no words.

My beef is Siro got dropped and never got another look in, while others played worse and kept their spot every week, Siro is now playing good while we still have the other blokes plodding away.

What a cop out. The others are hopeless and not up to NRL standard.

It's fortunate for all Tigers supporters that you don't pick the team.

I have no words.

I always recollect the Korobeite try against the Storm where Siro went halfway through the defensive line and unloaded to Simona who put Korobeite away. To think none of these players are now at our club!

Do you think Grfifin would have Cartwright doing grunt work that players such as Lawrence should be doing?

I can recollect Tim Moltzen and Daniel Fitzhenry doing that stuff too.
One highlight doesn't reflect a career.

Lawrence does it…

Sirro is big enough to do it..I guess that means he was used correctly here as he never did any grunt work..

Haven't seen enough of Cartwright this year to say..
