Just skipped the last 16 pages…. Miss anything solid?

It's been pretty quiet, we've only been linked to Dylan Walker, Shaun Johnson, Martin Taupau, Alex Johnston, Manu M'au, Wade Graham, Andrew Fifita, Robert Jennings, Jack Wighton, Damien Cook, Coen Hess and James Roberts. Unsurprisingly, we've signed none of them,

Says it all. :roll

Grahan is a similar player to Matterson in my opinion. Only a lot older and a lot more injured.

Keep the barge pole handy.

No offence but I think a lot of people are underestimating how good Graham is as a player.. He'd be our best backrower by some margin.

As for his injuries, played 18 games last year and 22, 26, 26 in 2017, 2016 and 2015 respectively. If that's classed as injury plagued then we should retire our entire pack because he played more games over the same period than any of them.

Wade Graham is class…origin backrower with a kicking game and ball skills.

Would easily be our best forward if signed.

In saying that I cant see the Sharks letting him go,.,,,,,would be madness on their part.

Unless they need to free up cap???

I am sure the club doctors at the sharks would have a large say in his release or not,He is 29 next year coming off an ACL and wont play for half the season.Would be risky we dont need another potential Ballin situation especially when he would not be cheap

We've been average in recruitment and we were all reminded that Keith Lulia holds the record for most tries scored in a game.

Pretty painful really.

I think Graham was at his peak between 2014 and 2017\. 2018 was not a great season for him. Too early to tell if it was just a bit of a downturn or the start of his decline due to injuries. It's unknown how he'll recover from his ACL injury. I'd rather we sign someone who we can confidently expect to have their best years ahead of them rather than a bloke who has some warning signs of being busted or on the decline. McQueen and Ballin should have taught us something.

We're one of only a few clubs with money to spend. No doubt we've been used and will continue to be used by managers to bump up asking prices for their clients. We're no chance of luring Graham from the Sharks nor would I want him with his history of injury and age.

i was talking to my mates about this yesterday…

i was the only one that was against the idea of getting graham...........

Tigers have spoken to Alex Johnston. He could end up at fullback with Mbye in the centres. Gives us plenty of speed out wide. Mbye has played centres before. Can't believe Bennett would let Johnston go, he's a gun.

I like the thought of Johnston coming to us….we can use some pace for sure.....I just don't know about Mbye at centre???

Isnt a really big body and you have to be on point defensively against some big units!!

So we are essentially going to be paying two guys fullback money but one to play centre? I know the Bulldogs have paid some of Mbye's freight for a couple of years but surely he is a waste in the centres - we could potentially pick up a specialist centre for less I would have thought…

It’s not going to happen

Rather Reynolds to play at centre if we cannot pick up a decent centre.

If what souffs fans are saying is accurate, they believe Johnston has been told he'll be on the wing under Bennett. Also, free to look elsewhere.

I'd be happy with what Madge/ Hodgson works out. Personally I'd prefer Mbye at fullback and Johnston at centre/wing.

wade graham is a weird one. solid defender and adds a bit extra in attack. whenever we play against him, he doesn't seem particularly dangerous.

not a big fan and think he's overrated but i'd probably be in the minority

I’m with you, Wade Graham is overrated.

MBYE must be out FB

Alex Johnston and Wade Graham are OK if at the right price.

Neither is worth Overs to get them here. We have enough of those guys on our books already
