@ said:Johnson or Jennings
I'll take both
We need speed and they both have that
Along with try scoring abilities
Johnson
Nofoluma
Masters
Mbye (covers fullback and half)
Jennings
Brooke's
Reynolds
Looks good to me
Certainly much better than what we had this year
In saying that I thought Tompson was great for us and would cover many positions if a long term injury was to occur

We're one of only a few clubs with money to spend. No doubt we've been used and will continue to be used by managers to bump up asking prices for their clients. We're no chance of luring Graham from the Sharks nor would I want him with his history of injury and age.
i was talking to my mates about this yesterday…
i was the only one that was against the idea of getting graham...........
At lease you have friends that go for the Tigers… I live in Campbelltown but none of my friends go for the Tigers.

No offence but in me fell swoop you have just made two positions worse.
Mbye is a better fullback than johnson. He bring a passing and kicking game their.
Then to move mbye who is only 90kgs or so and put him at centre up against st 100kg plus guys is not the way to go. His passing game wouldn't be utilize their either.
Sorry I'd be annoyed as if that was pur back line.

Not offended and I get your point
But
How many people would have had Mbye at fullback 18 months ago
I recall people bagging Mbye when he was at the dogs playing fullback
Now everyone is bagging Johnson
Everyone has an opinion and many different ones at that
Toovey was one of the smallest players to play league
That didnt seem to stop him from sitting much bigger players on their backside
I think if if a quality player wishes to come here and he is able to play a number of positions
Eg fullback/wing/centre then we should have a good look at that player
Personally I think either Johnson wighton or Walker would all bring something to our team
Johnson for speed and finishing off a move
Wighton for speed and defence
Walker can be very dangerous when he has the ball and can open up space and every team needs a niggler
Just my opinion but most people on here would like one of these three
Otherwise who else is a possibility
Jennings
I would like to see a player who can come up with a big play when we need it
And when we dont
All three mentioned have that ability
Be interesting to see who madge actually signs

He quickly checked his response and instead named Jason Clark but it has certainly set tongues wagging considering the ongoing speculation about the Australian No.9’s future.
“We lose Angus (Crichton) and Dami… er, ah Angus and Jason Clark,” he said on Monday.
hmmmmmmm
@ said:Imo Mbye is actually a better fullback then Johnston after only playing 1 season in the role.
@ said:OK with Brooks sorted and all these so called rumours etc. does anyone have any real info of player/s joining us and timeframes??
I feel with this sorted we might be looking to finalise the roster now or hope so anyway..

Shut the rumour mill down ….there is no more recruitment for the WT on the short term horizon....we will wait to see IF the right 30th player comes on the market.....there is even a real chance we start the season with the 29 we have now got.....so enjoy the rest of the off season and don’t waste too much energy speculating....
