I feel for the bloke. Quite clear someone is out to really embarrass him and destroy his reputation.

Not sure about the validity of the rumour, but it is alleged a former Easts player was attempting to extort him.

Hope Napa finds out who did it and goes after them big time. Go litigious and financially ruin them.

According to Ali and the lurker apparently looking at signing Api Koroisau and Nathan Ross.

A big no for Nathan Ross, I think if we are patient and wait for a few games into the season we might find the right player for us, You ever know Momirovski, McIntyre may step up or someone from another club who is stuck behind established players. As for Koroissau, I would like to see how Soni Luke and Braden Robson go at hooker first.

Ross was lucky he came through at a time when Newcastle were at rock bottom. Probably wouldn't get a go at any other club.

Now that I have said that, he'll probably sign with us.

Koroisau I would certainly look at. Farah is gone after this year and if Liddle falls apart again we're out in the cold when it comes to hookers.

If Liddle falls apart this year we should target Brandon Smith from the Storm.
I don’t think that he would be too happy sitting behind Cam for another 2 years.

Totally agree with this comment. Nathan Ross - nice guy with a big heart but surely we have talent within the existing ranks that could be the equal or better even if less experienced?

Koroissau would be handy for us .. but we could save some coin if, like you said let's wait see how this young Soni Luke pans out .. there are big wraps on this kid. Melbourne Brandon Smith will not be leaving the Storm, as he getting game time as it is with the Storm, as he can play in the back row as well. He knows that Smith is retiring, so the hooker role is his if stays with the Storm.

Remember in 2017 people didn't have Esan Marsters on their radar before he became a 'revelation' at centre. Now he's one of the first picked. I feel we may have one or two in our current squad that may just do an Esan this year…

Koroisau is probably the 2nd best running hooker in the game behind Cook. Koroisau, Brooks, Reynolds and Mbye would be a great running back line, I'm just not sure we have the forwards for them to play off the back of.
