So Roosters are getting rid of him because he lacks commitment? Even if that is all it is he doesn't sound like the kind of person the Tigers need. Didn't we just sack one prop for the same thing?

If what he said is true he is definately worth chasing.I emphasis IF

Yes, because anyone not good enough for the roosters is good enough for us. The Roosters know nothing about what makes a decent player.

Nope. The Roosters are better than us so therefore a player from that club will do better than anything we can develop here. I say we pay him more than what he was earning at the Roosters to come here. There is no more context or thought required. Have you considered applying for a directorship?

The power of a big ego... Terrel May would come with a massive point to prove. Don't care if he could be a flog, he's a premier front rower and would transform our pack immediately.

I'd take his brother too if/when possible...can't keep being the good guys, lets start winning games.

it’s amazing that May gets told by the Roosters that he is “free to leave” with 2 years left on his contract …and he looks like he is just going to cop it sweet and leave ,,,

Our blokes get told they are free to leave and they just laugh and say they aren’t going anywhere…
maybe a few golf games are arranged to help with that decision.....

Can't see him coming to a place like the Tigers and the problems he is being sacked for at the Roosters improving. At his best he improves our pack significantly, but if you want a case in point of a non-committed front rower in our environment have a look at what Stefano dished up end of last year. We don't need more players who will dog it when things get tough.

I'm not entirely against it. But it isn't an automatic yes for me. Benji and Richo must do their dues on what the actual issues are.

I know I have a long memory (and maybe Rose Coloured Glasses) but isn't this exactly how Todd Payten arrived at the Tigers all those years ago?

May is a very handy player, and very sound defensively, think he's one you potentially take a risk on, but I trust Benji and Richo to make the right call.
Also think dogs dogs would be a front runner, they are even more desperate for quality middles and can probably fit him in their top 30 immediately.

That'll do me, how the N.R.L can just sit around while the struggling clubs are turned into the reserve grade teams for the more successfull ones is beyond me.
It'll do you that they have interest in him?
LOL
I'm sure other clubs are also interested in him.
chill out.

I believe Matt ballin played 1 game for the club?
From memory he played 3 games, 1 in his first year and 2 in his second, but I think his total mins were about 80 mins as I think he was injured in 2 of those 3 games unable to finish the game, and was sharing the hooker duties with McIllrick, while our 80 minute origin hooker played reggies.
Thanks for the memories Fruit Pascals and the scarecrow.

We should sign Taylan and Terrel 100%
Package deal.

Clauses in contract and all that.
Last chance saloon.
It could be transformational.

I'm on record as saying that I don't buy into the Terrell hype, but I won't deny that he is an out an out starter. Taylan has all the talent in the world, we know this.

As you said, clause-away any risk factors and run it by the NRL. They would improve two areas of need instantly.

A backline of Bula, Turuva, Olam, May and Skelton could do some real damage.

If your unable to see what he has done for that club I’m not going to try and explain it to you.

This is why I hate the new Forum.

So we have a stack of info on Dale Finucane and McInnes. I don't know if you are talking Dale or McInnes.

It's weird to think "sign TPJ or Finucane" and the best answer would be "None". I reckon Finucane would have done a lot of behind the scenes stuff. Helped people train and have the right attitiude.

McInnes is a product of that. Far out he looked like half a zombie he was so battered. It would be like signing Nigel Plum. A 1 year deal to see the culture and impact on the team, sure. But can't believe the Sharks would part with him and that they wouldn't offer him a deal and medically retire him,

Casting the memory back not quite as far but I do remember Todd Payten not being able to finish the 2011 season due to injury and as a result did not take part in the Finals, but he must have been extremely pissed when we were eliminated from the 2011 finals by the Warriors after we had the game won and virtually threw it away.

So pissed in fact that he had to do it on the War Memorial in Hyde Park the following day, amazing that he was able to hang on to it for so long.

I'm sure we all have some embarrassing moments that we all regret, doesn't mean we are all bad people.
