Lol yep you don't have to be Nostradamus to work that one out, not saying there isn't more going on behind the scenes but yeah.

". . . in QLD" . . . That's not overly specific, now is it, Teddy23 ?Could be wrong - but my mail is he’s currently in QLD.
Pole is contracted for 25. if he resigns it will be for 26 and beyond. Dogs are sniffing around him after missing out on May.I wonder how this leaves Pole and his negotiating, we can’t sign Sione so what about Pole if he says yep il sign today is there a spot still
Pole has a 2025 top 30 spot so there’s more time to snaffle a spot in 2026.I wonder how this leaves Pole and his negotiating, we can’t sign Sione so what about Pole if he says yep il sign today is there a spot still

Well looks like Papenhuyzen is extending with Storm for 2026 (according to Weidler). Thus Faalogo has a promise from the Storm chair he can explore other clubs if Papz re-signed. Wouldn't be surprised if Dogs now go hard for Faalogo which also becomes a lure for good mate Fonua Pole.Pole is contracted for 25. if he resigns it will be for 26 and beyond. Here's something interesting re the Saukuru family too. That sounds to me like EXACTLY what's happening mate.
Seems as though Richo will hold out as long as possible until they're able to finally move a couple on or, they will simply buy out a couple.
My prediction is that we'll free up three more by trial time. With one going to Sione.
I expect Bateman (at least) to go, Saukuru and Tumeth to be bought out.
I don't think we can actually afford to lose both Sullivan and Doueihi. Both of whom there has been plenty of chat about.
And Parra----------no MosesAny team without their two key players are in the same boat. Look at Souths this year.
If Canterbury are moving off Connor Tracey I’d be on the phone.Well looks like Papenhuyzen is extending with Storm for 2026 (according to Weidler). Well, its the only way to get the spots available. Tumuth seems to have done little of his opportunity. Saukuru apparently still is considered potential by some (Ive no idea myself). Naden and Bateman would seem to have done their dash at the club. Noses out of joint does not get you in the wanted list of players for the club. Whilst Bateman has more $$$ to sort, balancing him and Naden will be interesting. In some ways it would be easier to pay out Tumuth and Naden, but if Bateman is such a huge disruption and drama every off season, immaterial of him playing in firsts or reserves, maybe taking the bigger hit and paying him out along with Tumuth. This is an interesting line from Chammas: The Tigers are hopeful - once the big dominoes like Ben Hunt and Ryan Papenhuyzen fall - teams might be more willing to look at the lower end of their roster spots. If not, they’ll have to dip into their pockets.
To me this suggests if another club doesn't take a Naden, Sullivan or Bateman, we might pay out one of our lower paid players like Tumeth or Saukuru to create a roster spot or 2.
I believe he hit a bloke who was lying defenceless in the head… late.Well, its the only way to get the spots available. Tumuth seems to have done little of his opportunity. PS Can anyone recall what the match was where Naden got his nose out og joint with Marshall. Was it the match where on half time he did another bone headed action, got sin binned and the opposition blew out the scoreline making our situation impossible? If so, what would he like, a kiss? Bet you an epic spray would have come from most other coaches.
Yep was the Magic Round match against the Dolphins. We were in the game at 6-12 just before HT when he was binned for that stupid late high hit. His life wouldn't have been worth living if it was Bellamy as coach.Well, its the only way to get the spots available. Tumuth seems to have done little of his opportunity. interesting if Paps only resigns for 1 year though (as reported), maybe there is a promise then to Faalogo to be the fb in 2027. dogs might come up empty againWell looks like Papenhuyzen is extending with Storm for 2026 (according to Weidler). Thought that had happened. Here's something interesting re the Saukuru family too.
His old man Joey who was the Wests SG Ball coach last season has now shifted to the Kaiviti Siktails to be a coaching link between the Silktails jersey flegg & Canterbury Bulldogs.

As I stated when signing api, we should start with TDS then revert to api. Like the pamfers did with him. Don’t let api do the grunt work. He’s better playing against tired forwards.I think the 14 jumper is critical as well with this pack.
I was of firm belief Latu gets it but now I am leaning towards TDS.
Api gets gassed every week.
I would suggest at the 25-30 minute mark. Pole, Hunt & TDS. Bend the line, quick play the balls & TDS out of acting half.
Twal needs to be on at this point as well to hold the central defence.
Start - May, Klemmer, Api & Seyfarth (he is the starting lock for me at the moment)
25-30 mins - Hunt, Pole, TDS & Twal
Second half - Api & May back on form TDS & Hunt round the 55-60 minute mark
Klemmer & Seyfarth for the last 10 minutes for effort.
That's 8 interchanges.
