No way he's a middle. He's our OlokuatuI think that’s where he ends up as well, but probably not for a few years. he’s perfectly suited to the back row currently but as he grows the middle is definitely his spot.

with two spots left, I think we need a lock and a back rower. if Taylan May hypothetically does come on the market then you clear out a Feledy, Matamua or Tumeth if need be.I don’t believe what I’m reading sometimes.
If we go into a season with Kit Laulilli, Justin Matamua and Tim Johanssen as our first 3 middle forwards to call on as soon as we get an injury, we will finish bottom 4 and there will be nothing our class players can do about it.
They should be 3rd, 4th and 5th call ups at best.
It’s no point including Samuela Fainu and Alex Seyfarth as middles, they are required for the back row.
Klemmer never missed a tackle and had a quick play the ball. He was well marked every run because no one else could cause any problems. Don't underestimate his contribution.Gotta think bigger picture than that.... it's not like Klemmer played well last year. He was average, and he wasn't going to be any better this year.
Benji most likely would've picked those guys ahead of Klemmer anyway - we really haven't lost much unless there's a big injury crisis
I think people are thinking about the Klemmer of 4-5 years ago more than the Klemmer that played last year.
Running off Luai I am expecting a massive season from SamuelaNo way he's a middle. He's our Olokuatu
He’s my smokey for club player of the year. Or player’s player. He’ll be in the mix on awards night at the end of the season. No way he's a middle. He's our Olokuatu
Klemmer when he moves on is not a loss. Its a waste if Molo is in some dodgy trade ,This team is being built to give a big push up the ladder(from where we are now .3peat) in a year or 2.Kit ,Johanne etc, you can fill in your own names being sprinkled threw 1st grade over the next few years will bode us well.Top class 2nd rower center will come in time.Seem to have some decent cattle there to hold the fort if injuries favour u this year And the 50/50 calls go in our favour n butterfly kiss our eyeballs.Hang tight, lol ,its not all about the next winGotta think bigger picture than that.... it's not like Klemmer played well last year. He was average, and he wasn't going to be any better this year.

Players player, what an accolade. I think, and hope, you may be right. He’s my smokey for club player of the year. Or player’s player. He’ll be in the mix on awards night at the end of the season.
Taylan May. He's fit and ready, confident he'll be onfield by round 5. There's a spot available all of a sudden.with two spots left, I think we need a lock and a back rower. if Taylan May hypothetically does come on the market then you clear out a Feledy, Matamua or Tumeth if need be.
Depth chart for middles reads now as follows:
May, Pole, Twal, Hunt, Bird, Si. Fainu, K. Laulili’i, Matamua, Johannssen*
Yes but Laulilli and Matamua have not even shown they can stand out playing NSW Cup.with two spots left, I think we need a lock and a back rower. if Taylan May hypothetically does come on the market then you clear out a Feledy, Matamua or Tumeth if need be.

He obviously doesn’t watch our NSW Cup team play as he would know who is NRL ready and who is not if he did.You agree V we are 2 big middles short now and Benji comes out and says we have plenty of middles I am beginning to think the knocks on him are starting to have some legs.
He was gang tackled----------no quick play the balls last year.Klemmer never missed a tackle and had a quick play the ball. He was well marked every run because no one else could cause any problems. Don't underestimate his contribution.
I'm disappointed with Klemmer going but very happy with Hunt and May. Jjohhaannssenn can be counted on for 50 tackles and 20 runs per game. Not necessarily breaking the line or smashing people but doing a job. Pole is Pole, maybe a bit better this year. Twal, meh. I think we may miss Klemmer more than we think. All of a sudden, we may be a bit short.Yes but Laulilli and Matamua have not even shown they can stand out playing NSW Cup.
Johanssen has shown he can stand out at NSW Cup level, but there has to be concerns about his lightweight frame if being called upon to assist our NRL team take on the bigger more aggressive rival forward packs.
Why are we including Sam Fainu or Seyfarth as middle forward options when they will be needed exclusively as our edge forwards.
We will have a good top 17, but as soon as we get injuries to our forwards we will be up the creek without a paddle unless we sign much better depth, preferably a couple of players that are proven at NRL level.
Based on Klemmer’s likely departure I am much more concerned about our middle forward depth, than I am about our edge forward depth.
No team wins NRL games without strong middles, including the bench,
Maybe he is playing too much golf.He obviously doesn’t watch our NSW Cup team play as he would know who is NRL ready and who is not if he did.
Surely Kit and Matamua have to play at least one or two standout games in NSW Cup before they can be considered NRL ready ?I'm disappointed with Klemmer going but very happy with Hunt and May. Jjohhaannssenn can be counted on for 50 tackles and 20 runs per game. Not necessarily breaking the line or smashing people but doing a job. Pole is Pole, maybe a bit better this year. Twal, meh. Surely he can’t be that dumb, it’s his coaching career on the line.Maybe he is playing too much golf.
Question the Klem decision give it a week to see if the media throws us something, think a signing might be happening behind the scenes.S

Good call.Jack Wighton?
Agree but how does that help the now, real quality is still lacking behind Hunt, Terell and Pole in the middle. The young players have not reached their ceiling there is plenty of scope for them to improve. Klemmer on the other hand is approaching the back end much like when we had Tamou. Less chance of moving Klemmer on next season got to take opportunities when they present themselves and it opens up scope to recruit.
Close yes. Maybe a bit of shuffling between the positions but it looks like a pretty full strength forward pack - Api if you consider hooker part of the pack.Would you guys say our forward pack is fairly full strength for this trial? Tryna build my NRL fantasy tigers team 😂
