I think Manly have screwed the pooch in this one. Their succession plan seems to have been retaining DCE in a coaching role from 2027 onwards to help attract new halves and help develop his replacement. Without DCE I don’t think they’re in a strong position to recruit Galvin.I believe that it actually goes higher than Seibold, despite the fact that he’s divided the club. it’s mainly to do with Mestrov.
from a Wests Tigers point of view, this doesn’t help us in regards to Galvin’s retention, given it’s a spot at one of Isaac Moses’ McDonald’s franchises.
