Staines. His last year. Since we haven't got Olam's money yet or might never get it maybe Staines is being offloaded for bit of coin. Who knows.

Love that it's all in house. Better than last hierarchy who had more leaks than a sieve.

I know Staines, it just sounded like you meant swap with another club, except Taylan doesn’t play for another club.

I think you misunderstood. It was about swapping Staines for Taylan. Also we have 28, I’m pretty sure. Had 29 at Nov1, released Bateman, added Sione, released Klemmer. We wouldn’t have needed to release Klemmer to sign, nor do we necessarily need to release (or retire) anyone else.

Finau can play. supreme talent. that said, I assume we’ll opt for someone a bit older to ensure we don’t block Taai or Havea’s path.

The Dragons/Steelers forward stocks in juniors are incredible. Would argue that they have some of the best coming through the grades in Halangahu, Pasifiki Tonga, Finau.

Can't keep them all, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Finau move on. But yeah, not sure if he would end up with us as Havea in particular seems to be earmarked for big things. Still, I wouldn't mind him to come in as Matamua's replacement in 2026.

I really don’t give a crap what happens to him , the bloke backfliped last time he wanted to leave , just another money grabbing player

Many drop down the ladder now , DCE I feel has a reel sour spot for Manly due to his no offer originally , I also think he has a club locked in and will play his normal games , but it’s the other players if they loose need a scape goat DCE will be it , Brooks will suffer next year when he is the driver of a rudderless team
