Have wanted to see Burton at Fullback since his early days at Penrith.
I think it's a master stroke... Big body, Big boot, reasonable speed, Decent Ball Playing and a tough barstood...

Personally think Galvin is 3 years off being elite. Suppose Gus loves a 5 year plan.

A lot depends on if Latu can string some games together and whether we keep Sullivan for next year. Sullivan I think is a decent option as back-up to Latu provided he plays. If Latu can't stay on the field for the rest of the year, too big a risk to have him pencilled in as our starting 6.

TDS is also an interesting one. If he leaves, 7 Reynolds, 6 Luai and 14 Latu is a strong spine IMO for a season before hopefully Latu is ready.

Agreed, if Galvin is worth 1.2 a season Katoa is worth double and Cleary is worth triple.

Now everyone turns on TDS haha. I think if he left it would be a mistake on his part. He has one of the best and most experience hookers in the game to learn off in Api who’s played Origin, internationals, multiple grand finals and over 200 NRL games. Tallyn has played pretty well so far for a 20 year old, however, there are some glaring deficiencies in his game mainly his defence but also discipline at times. This is probably in part due to his age and experience and there is hardly a better apprenticeship out there than under Api. All you have to do is look at Harry Grant. He was stuck behind Cameron Smith and the Cheese but learnt off them and bided his time. Now he’s arguably the best hooker in the game.

Hooker is also the latest blooming position in the game. I can't think of any in recent memory who were guns straight away in their early 20s. Grant didn't make his debut until he was 22 and he was always seen as a massive prospect.
