hahaha! I'm not too sure that one R Jennings is the sort of actual great player that I was referring to.
He really is not a champion at one team going on to an even more illustrious career at an even better team, over a whole career span.

I don't subscribe to it and believe if Papenhuyzen came back he would be among a host of talented young stars as well as seasoned professionals.

Leilua could be a realistic purchase.

Coming off a major neck injury that he may never fully recover from.

Has missed the majority of the previous season with injury.

Sounds like a tigers special. I'd say worthy of a 3-5 year deal.

Great players will always thrive in a better team.
More opportunities.
More chances to excel.
Just look back at Terry Lamb - played so well in his one season for Wests then had a stellar career with the Entertainers(of that day) at Canterbury, or Johnny Raper, a champion already in his Newtown days before he reached Immortal heights with St George.
And the list goes on as history proves.

Terry Lamb played 4 seasons at Wests (88 games)after Canterbury said he was to small, played semi final footy and won the Dally M player of the year, got selected for origin and a kangaroo tour, but couldn't go because he was getting married

If another club was trying to get rid of Josh Reynolds he might be worth the risk for us, if we only had to pay 200K for him.

Until we free up cap space we will have to take risks on wife beaters, the injury prone, alcohol enthusiasts, homophobic social media pariahs and other players with obvious flaws.

Why would Josh Reynolds leave us to play reserve grade at another club???

He is going to go somewhere that he is a chance of playing first grade. He is not dispensing Johnson or Townsend. The only places he may push a first grade spot are Bulldogs, Knights or Cowboys, and I think im stretching it with some of them as it is.
