Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I think he has reached his used by date. Buyer beware for mine.
Gagai would be great signing..
2years @ 400k .. 2nd year a club option if his 30+ body fails ..
Qld and Aust rep..
300+ first grade games
Looks fit and always plays tough..
Couldn't think of a better signing not only for our centres/ outside backs but the club as a whole would benefit.
These are the veteran signings we need to teach our young squad what a first grader is all about..
LOCK HIM IN !!!!

David Fifita reportedly at odds with Titans medical staff as tensions escalate

I think a potential forward pack like this in 2026 would make us look very dangerous to opposing teams;

13. Samuela Fainu
12. Kai Pearce-Paul
11. David Fifita
10. Fonua Pole
9. Api Korisau
8. Terrell May

14. Talyn Da Silva
15. Alex Seyfarth or Jack Bird or Tony Sukkkar
16. Alex Twal or Royce Hunt
17. Sione Fainu

So Fafita won’t return to training after being medically cleared …. And you want to sign him ?

Isn’t that Olam like behaviour?

Newcastle Knights Dane Gagai may be forced to don new colours next season, as it was revealed that his club was unwilling to take up his $400,000 team option for 2026.

The centre recently played his 300th NRLgame, and while the 34-year-old may have been hoping to wrap up his exemplary career in the Hunter, he would now have to do so on a much cheaper contract. It has been reported by The Newcastle Herald that Gagai had a team option to remain at the Knights in 2026, valued at around $400,000, which is a reasonable sum for most consistent NRL centres. I’d take him if he’s a good vet for the younger ones
