He didn’t work when tried at 7 with the Rabbitohs, but has played ok as a running 5/8 or as a 14.
We hopefully have Heath Mason as our long term running 5/8 or 14, it that’s the case we don’t need Bud back.
Interestingly Bud is starting at 7 for the Rabbitohs today.

If we can stay with them maybe the lighter bench could work in our favour at the backend of the game when their big guys tire out abit. We need to promote the ball before hand to make them work in D though to wear them out a bit 🤷

I think he’s a better all round player than To’a and has the ability to become elite as he approaches the prime of his career, not sure what value of contract it would take to land a player like him ?

He would be worth a bit more to a UK Super League team, but he doesn’t seem to want to take that option.
He’s only value to us if we don’t retain Heath Mason, but if we re-sign Heath there is not much need for Bud.
