They probably met him or watched him play…Remember when it was rumoured we we're swapping him for Harry Hassett?
Wish that deal went through.

how do they even have any money leftStaggs extends for 3 years at Brisbane
Yep the grasshopper will never be topped...except by those french refs on the old roo tours of the 70s etcBarry Gommersal (spelling) was worse by a long way.He was always Queenslands best player Klein is only their best player sometimes.
DamnStaggs extends for 3 years at Brisbane
firstly, there is a register of salaries that the public can look at …if an Origin player is getting only $300k…than no doubt this can and will be questioned ..is the NRL investigating stuff like this now ? We don’t know for certainI don't understand the transparency of salaries argument. I'm not so much against it, I just don't see how it helps. The NRL has the recorded salaries. They would have to add up correctly. The published 'transparent' salaries would be what the public would see, thus they would add up. Supposed cap rorting is paying outside of this salary. If it can't be proven to be happening now, how will it be proven to be happening after the recorded salary is known?
They say the say thing about diobie and Lomax. You know what Will Craig does do?
Kicks goals. 😛
That is scary hahaEven a Cup contract is probably a level too high @Kelce68 I could possibly understand & accept a Flegg contract for '26 with us but even then we need to create room for the likes of Jack Nicholas, Saint Fuatimau & Riley Oitmann and other SG Ball top agers from this year who IMO have a higher ceiling.
The WT Faithful lads posted something scary on Twitter that maybe his development deal had a Sheens/McDonnell promotion to top 30 the following year in it as Will was originally signed under that regime.
that is music to my earsBenji Marshall: "We've got young Latu Fainu, who is not far off from getting a real good opportunity in the halves and is probably our long-term option there. He just needs a little more match fitness coming back from his hamstring injury for him to play 80 minutes."

Tigers insist Fainu remains long-term five-eighth
Wests Tigers appeared to have a selection dilemma with the emergence of Heath Mason but Benji Marshall still sees Latu Fainu as his long-term five-eighth.au.news.yahoo.com
He has some strong points as you have mentioned such as his strong carries out of our danger zone and he’s a good finisher, but it’s about position specific bod shape and physical attributes, something this club doesn’t seem to put a lot of thought into.He doesn't do it very well @The Chad . I don't mean to be continually critical of the kid as he'd probably a great person but he doesn't have many strings to his bow.
Galvin's farewell card?will Craig signing something , my gut feeling we released him ?
Julian Rascagneries or something like that?Yep the grasshopper will never be topped...except by those french refs on the old roo tours of the 70s etc
Well the needless Latu doom & gloom can be put to bed nowBenji Marshall: "We've got young Latu Fainu, who is not far off from getting a real good opportunity in the halves and is probably our long-term option there. Reminds of the story where the legend Noel Kelly was sent off twice in a Kangaroos touring match against France in 1964. The game was played in a ground enveloped in fog, and having been sent once in the first half, Kelly thought the referee would not notice him sneaking back on in the second half. (I love footy.)Yep the grasshopper will never be topped...except by those french refs on the old roo tours of the 70s etc
Which was good coaching from QLDHaha I thought you’d be used that happening supporting the Tigers!
Yep no doubt priming us up for a game 3 decider, there’s not as much money to be made from a dead rubber. NSW were very ill disciplined in that first half, so some of those penalties were justified, but Klein definitely turned a blind eye to whatever Qld was doing, especially with regards to keeping the 10 metres, it was more like 5!
Those frog’s referees were the original 14th man.Yep the grasshopper will never be topped...except by those french refs on the old roo tours of the 70s etc
Gah.will Craig signing something , my gut feeling we released him ?
So Reynolds to us bs, was never coming imo. Just more hot air and wild speculation.Broncos news - Reynolds 1 year, Staggs 3 years & Mozer another 2 years now official.
One thing Melbourne pushes and Slater mentions a lot.Which was good coaching from QLD
Everybody knew that there was not going to be many 6 again restarts in this game after all the complaints after game 1.
