firstly, there is a register of salaries that the public can look at …if an Origin player is getting only $300k…than no doubt this can and will be questioned ..is the NRL investigating stuff like this now ? We don’t know for certain
Also ensures that the player knows exactly what his salary is being recorded as officially …so if he is getting $800k he will know for certain that he is involved in a rort if this is only being recorded at $500k … how do they know now that is the case ?

He has some strong points as you have mentioned such as his strong carries out of our danger zone and he’s a good finisher, but it’s about position specific bod shape and physical attributes, something this club doesn’t seem to put a lot of thought into.
We don’t have any wingers other than Lobb who are extremely tall and a good aerial threat and we do not have any wingers that are extremely fast, Staines is the closest we have.
The blueprint for emerging young wingers should be they are either big, strong and powerful to provide strong ball running and tackle bust ability with decent height to be efficient under the high ball, extremely tall to be a very strong aerial threat, but need to also be efficient in their out of the danger zone carries and fast enough to capitalise on chances and half chances, or be lightning fast such as players like Addo-Carr and Khan-Pereira etc
We seem to continue trying to develop players in positions such as the wing who do their best, but do not fit any of the descriptions I have mentioned above.
Will Craig should have been played as a centre if we were looking at him long term as he simply doesn’t have the body shape of physical attributes of what most NRL clubs are looking for in a modern day NRL winger.

Reminds of the story where the legend Noel Kelly was sent off twice in a Kangaroos touring match against France in 1964. The game was played in a ground enveloped in fog, and having been sent once in the first half, Kelly thought the referee would not notice him sneaking back on in the second half. (I love footy.)

I follow this forum and I have never heard of him.
Look lower grades, you get people who are one trick ponies and you hope to develop them into multi-trick ponies. I get it and it's the place they are meant to be. Sometimes they will stay one trick ponies or fail to learn how to tackle, etc.

Adapting to the conditions, the rules and the game as it stands.
Which is exactly what the Maroons did and NSW did not do. NSW was still a tough side, but you see how they did not play as well in the weather.
