They were talking on SEN this afternoon about how much Parramatta’s strong finish to the year will make them an attractive destination for free agents. More so than the teams that finished above them but missed the top 8. We missed an opportunity not being able to win at least one of our final 3 games.

I finish this year with alot more confidence in Parra than I do the teams around them. Maybe the Dolphins too if they didnt have injuries.

Saukuru too. I think backs are ok young, and all three of these guys have talent. We still have Bird and Doueihi, who can also move to the centre if injuries dictate. We also don't want to block pathways for Makasini and Luke L - they should be first in.

Our problem is in the forwards. With only 1 or 2 out, we're getting the likes of Murray and Sukkar on the bench. If we can get a marque in the middle, we suddenly look like threats.

Murray and Sukkar should both be released. If either play a minute of NRL then we're not making the finals, unless it's the last round and we're already guaranteed a top 2 finish of course...!

Something is going on with him at the storm, he is surely copping plenty from Bellamy, could it be that he knows he is on the outer so overplays his hand and gets himself into trouble. There is a fine line between being the enforcer and getting suspended. He comes out and has a go in every game, so he is not mailing it in. Clutching at straws here, however maybe there would be less pressure on him at the Tigers and he could play with a little more control. Without the suspensions he is exactly what we need.

I want NAS. What I'd do to have a forward with that kind of intimidating factor would make our other forwards fire up. We need to get him off Bellamy and develop him ala Stefano' but vice versa 😁.
All jokes a side I don't think he's able to play his game atm with him and Bellamy not on the same page.

I only mentioned AD as potential depth if we desperately need him at right centre if To'a goes down.

What the game against the Titans reinforced to me is we need to recruit someone as depth for right centre who is strong defensively. It will help having KPP on that side with Latu Fainu but both Turuva & Skelton (whoever plays right wing) are not the best defenders outside the right centre.

AD showed this year how much he improved his defence at centre with good decisions & tackles. We don't have anyone even through pathways who stands out as a very good defensive right centre (Max Taotua is ok but still prone to poor decisions).

So maybe an Albert Hopoate or Corey Allan could fill this role at decent $$$ unless Benji can pull a rabit from his hat.

We need better benji needs to pull a rabbit out of his whatever to do it.. Star is not up to playing at a high level on a weekly basis imo. He actually quite frustrating cause has the ability at times but goes missing and these days you need players that perform week in week out
.

Why would anyone want NAS. He doesn’t get fined when he’s charged, it’s always 3-4 weeks. There’s a difference between being aggressive and being a liability.

With the right coaching it can be fixed those blokes don't know what they are doing down there.
All jokes aside he looks like a very frustrated player. I personally would love to have that monster in our pack.

Stone & Averillo would be anazing for us. Then Averillo & To’a can fight out who becomes 1st choice right centre.

Elliott had a ruptured pec but will be ready by pre-season.

Also NAS and roster is in top 8 shape!

Finally someone else can see his zero contribution to the NRL side. Nothing personal, we just want the NRL side to win.
My wish is that Benji watches the replays of all his poor overall performances (or his assistant coaches/advisers give Benji some worthwhile advise) IE. spell it out clearly that he is NOT of NRL standard.
We need better bench player alternatives ASAP.

I don't blame Mason or Benji, just a symptom of how bad our depth is. In fairness we have lost 2 halfbacks which is pretty rare but we need much better than what Mason can provide atm to step in to fill the breach. No doubt Richo and Benji understand thats why we grabbed Andrews and Madden. Just shows how bare the cupboard is for us atm.

Don't know why, maybe because when he was a junior for us I saw Stone as a tackling machine, I would throw the chequebook to get that guy back as a lock. He is all heart and unless I'm thinking of someone else he is a great defender and knows how to hit in a tackle. To me no idea why but I just see him as a simpler Scott Sattler. Reckon he would make a great body guard for our halves aswell.

If we can get Jack Hetherington at a low cost I’m with you and think he’d be worth the risk to add some NRL experience at the very least.
What is the injury that has kept Adam Elliott out for virtually the whole season ? If we could be confident he would be injury free to start 2026, he’d be another experienced NRL middle worth considering,
I’ve heard Ray Stone and Jake Averillo are both keen to head back to Sydney if they can get an early release from the Dolphins. I’d be trying to sign both of them if we could.
