turuva at fullback did that when bula was injured. but we struggled to score points because he has no ball playing ability. why do you think the dogs attack was crap & they are looking to replace tracey…. he has no attacking flair

Because technically he does. According to the club, he’s signed till the end of 27. I’m sure he’s being advised on what to and what not to say

Another potentially destabilising contract negotiation mid-season is the last thing needed for 2026. If an extension can not be sorted, or he indicates he wants out, I think he will be gone before 2026.

Only a couple of weeks to the Nov 1 deadline, when hopefully all will be revealed.
Richo would have his finger on the pulse on what's being negotiated. Progression or roadblocks.
If it's unreasonable roadblocks. I'm sure Richo has a contingency plan B in place.
A rejigged contract or an $800k shopping spree, this year or next?

I'm doubtful TS. I think he either signs the extension or is gone for 2026. The club won't want another contract debacle to a key player popping up mid season.

I still think (hopeful) he will re-sign, and that Moses is just trying to maximise the contract.

We got to stand up and enforce a deal one day mate … other clubs seem to do it …, and now you have the situation with Pezet signing a one year deal at a new club and already moving on to the next…no reason Bula can’t be patient and respect the club that discovered him and got him to the point he is now…not everyone has a huge ego and an overbearing parent in his ear

I don’t think he will have the appetite for the Galvin style drama and the Tigers need a year to replace him ..,

I mean if she wanted to play and train, surely we could have let her take a spot in the womens 30?
That said, happy if the club says "she is not up to standard". Ok punt her. If she is player 31 or weaker, sure.

But she seemed to show promise and surely we could have carried 1x person on the roster. Ofcourse if she was a troublemaker, punt her.

I agree and think Bula is significantly better than Sloan, however Sloan is better at organising a defensive line. The non-tackler might be the better defensive option.

The whole Pezet thing sucks.

Parra sign him for 1 year, but the Broncos get to waltz in and take him away after that.
I mean a club with Haas, Carrigan and a bunch of stars like Walsh/Mam/etc. Can just pick up Pezet.

Ok that said, the Broncos can do the right thing by people. I was glad to hear they kept Jaral Yow Yeh on contract after he was Seriously injured for a long time. But boy Brisbane and Melbourne seem to have a player factory.

Surely the Tigers see it as a slap in the face that Bula even has Moses as his manager given the history between club and manager. They are probably just pre-empting whats inevitably going to happen.

On another note, Will Craig may still be with the club for 2026, not sure what contract. If so, hopefully nothing more than a NSW Cup deal.

Heath Mason mentioned on the Matty G podcast released yesterday that the only 3 teammates from the Harold Matts winning team still with the club are the Laulilii brothers & Will Craig.
