Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Yeah, I think we all remember Richo's comments at the time on the worth of AFB, so I doubt he would be all that keen on 2x $850k.
The AFB comments were kinda strange. I put them down to "Richo is brand new here". From memory they were "the club has decided to develop local front row talent".

It was a mistake not to go for AFB, doubt we would have landed him. Yet if we did we would have missed one spoon and likely made the 8 this year.

Sorry guys I know this is not tigers related but just want to discuss

The dogs will have invested:

Leo - 800
Kikua - 800
Keano - 900

That's alot of money in the forwards. Then again Broncos have even more invested.

I think Curran would be a good starting 13 for us. He's an upgrade on Seyfarth. You could then bring on a Latu or Douehi into that role with the sting out and have Curran join the middle/edge rotation
I thought he had a good 2024 season but got monstered this season and the coach seemed to be giving him less minutes in many games. Useful player at a reasonable price if he can tap into 2024 form.

You could tell that the Bulldogs sort of gave up.

They were playing but their heart wasn't in it.

Now, will Curran regain heart? probably not. I would only take him if he was cheap.

I know there were discussions with Crosby and someone here was certain he signed with Penrith. That hasn't actually happened, so I think we must still be in with a chance. That kid is exactly what we need.
This does sound more likely but not sure he's worthy of a NRL deal. He's still very much an inconsistent fringe player

Former @South Sydney NSW Cup winger Max Lehmann is trialling for a deal at Wests Tigers.
Born in the USA... Scored 6 tries in 8 games this year.

A former teammate of Tristan Hope in Brisbane.
He didn’t play beyond round 9 this year - was he injured ?
I know Souths have signed a couple of Kiwi backs but given Munro’s issues you’d have thought if Lehmann was any good they’d have hung on to him.

Extra speed would help any player but he's not that slow, just like Doueihi takes a while to wind up, remember seeing a break this season for the knights took the play 50 mtrs downfield, was surprised when he broke the line.
Yeah I agree. I'm not saying he's a sloth but yeah he's slow off the mark. Unfortunately that'll make
him fit in here with us.

Maybe we should send all our players to Rodger. Be nice to see us wind back the clock and see us
finish off half breaks with too much pace.
