You need these type of players in NSW Cup for depth and to deliver the required NRL structures at that level. He is a very good ball player & runner, just had some defensive deficiencies to work on. A pre-Xmas train & trial with the NRL squad may have done him wonders. Let's see how he comes up.
Hes Cup depth, will only play when Madden or Andrews are pushed up into first grade.

He would be silly not to be open to it, or any option. All players say this kind of thing to maximise contract value. He is going to be a hot commodity in 2027 regardless if its union or league.
