Personally I don't think there is a chance in the world that Reynolds will start at hooker next year.

If we have signed up Billy Brittain as appears so, Canterbury Cup player of the year, he'll walk into our First Grade side, from day one.

@Tigers17 I really cannot see him starting at 9 to be honest either.. He would be a great 14 and can cover there if needed but the defence would break him unless he puts on some kilos in the off season..,

Nothing overly new here but the next month will decide our destiny potentially in 2020. Managers marketing Reynolds, Lawrence and Packer to the Super League.

I think any good WT signings (not CC depth) would surely have to wait for movement on Packer / Matulino / Reynolds front beforehand to know how much we can offer and to what position needs filling. In addition there is the still unsorted situation with Matterson and the potential departure of Marsters.

My suspicion is we will get Lomax, Musgrove will be allowed to play and WT will follow through with signing, Lawrence will get a final year extension and some replacement player swapped for Matterson. To say the least, we do have some useful shifts in the playing roster but it is dependent on the first domino falling (not Matterson).

I think you've summed it up pretty well 2005magic... the outcome you suggest is probably the best we can do outside of a break with some of the guys we are trying to move on. Add the Walters signing and the talk around Billy Brittain - that will be it for 2020.
