I think eash could play 15 minutes rotation one week up 4 weeks down

I know you are going to pull it apart but they have got to get a taste at some point and I think 15 minutes would be a starting poin

I haven’t given him a chance?
I haven’t got him here mowing my lawns!
.
He’s hardly ever on the park.
Hos own mother in on record saying he’s always injured.

It doesn’t matter how much he’s getting paid when he’s injured for the most part.

Crane Drivers, what?
You’ll have to point me in the direction of a Crane Driver that spends most of his time on compo and still got a 4 year job offer out of it.
Probably down in Victoria on the Big Build Scam ... damn autotype ... Scheme. 💪 🤪 🙃

He was thrown around a lot at the dogs. His best position in my opinion is at center, but he has played 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7.

He unfortunately has had a very disjointed career due to coaching. It started with Dean Pay, Steve Georgallis, then Mick Potter, Ciraldo and now Wolf.

He wants to be back home in Sydney and wants a forever club. Great signing and we can offer that.

Yeah the tackle efficiency you showed surprised me. If he's defence is right then I'm ok for it at 500-600k.

I've seen 4 or 5 games of him at the Dolphins and he is decent in attack but more likely to run them set his outside man up.

As long as Toa aint there then all good.

You’re changing the parameters mate. You claimed he wasn’t getting picked because he’s a dud. That he was not a first choice player at the Dolphins. I’ve provided facts to prove that is false.

It wasn’t about whether he’s good value or where he should play. Separate discussions.
I did mention his worth, why else would I have mentioned him?? It was due to signing him, otherwise I couldn’t give a crap about him!! Stop cherry picking!

Why are you so aggressive about this .hes clearly got “It”. Just needs to string games together . Youre both right . But I’d hardly call him a bust . Just really unlucky . And it’s not like the cap could have been reallocated , for most of the last few years .
If someone had said to me 3 years ago we would get the most prodigious talent of his age group , and his older just as talented brother , but have to pay him 500k to watch incremental growth I’d have been knee deep in yes. I don’t really get what you’re so emotional about . He’s taken time . Whatever . He’s just turned 21. Most kids his age haven’t even debuted yet .
This is important, he has only just turned 21.

If we fast forward two years and we have a fully fit Latu Fainu taking the field in the halves at age 23, then we are ahead.

He could give us another 7-10 years ontop of that.

As for those commenting about Madden vs Latu, well we have seen how well its gone for young players being rushed in aka Galvin. Benji has been very clear that its about building up minutes for Latu.

So if there is a LONG TERM PLAN for Latu, then it makes sense why we would utilise a more experienced half who has played under one of the modern day great halves in reynolds - thats the point of having depth.

As much as id love to see Latu play more minutes, i think the club are blooding him the right way.

P.S. does anyone remember the game in the 2 years ago vs manly at leichardt? Latu had a field day. When he is on, he is on. The game against the understrength roosters he tore them apart too. Patience is the key here (as hard as it is for a team coming off the base we are)

Makasini! Toa is crap but did do a great tackle to save us last week. Apparently he Luai replacement on $700k. Blocking the way fir Latu and Andrew’s!
Mate, don't believe what comes out of the media these days they speak with forked tongue.

Just looking at our roster tells you where Averillo will be playing, we are well stocked for halves and thin at right centre, it's staring you right in the face.

No one is saying he should be in the halves ahead of Luai and Doueihi. But there is no reason he can’t fill in over Madden. Playing 30 mins in the middle does nothing for him or the team.
