Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

As much as I'd like Edwards, I have a feeling it'll be hiku if indeed it is someone from Penrith.

I am hoping the Hiku and Eastwood rumours are false, we can do better and probably for the same or less money

From Gus Gould
New coach Ivan Cleary has been very busy in the marketplace. Already the club has secured the services of experienced, representative-class players like Josh Reynolds, Ben Matulino, Russell Packer and Chris McQueen. My mail is that there will be more announcements this week on another two signings from rival clubs

Ok here's who is on the market that everyone is mentioning:

Corey Harawira-Naera
Peter Hiku
Dylan Edwards
Josh Dugan
Tahne Milne
Tui Lolohea
James Graham
Adian Tolman
Michael Lichaa
Greg Eastwood (this name should never be mentioned in the same sentence as west's tigers. He also re-signed 4-5 months ago)
Will Hopoate
Sam Kasiano
Adam Elliott
Jarryd Hayne
Anthony Don
Aiden Guerra
Anthony Topou
Conner Watson
Latrell Mitchell
Mahe Fonua
Corey Thompson
Cody Walker
Aaron Gray
Alex Johnson
Nelson Asofa-Solomona
any others ??

Wow with all these players we keep mentioning .. we could make a new team .. time to get on the bus team .. !!

Have we had any links with Nelson Asofa-Solomona? 21 year old Kiwi prop who looks promising thats off contract from storm next year.

Milky has him starting in the back row in 2018 ….so yeah..

Who wouldn't have him…?

He just re-signed with South .. who cares, contract are worth nothing these days. If a player is unhappy with what he's got (aka: Moses) and this case they signed a player for next season who'll potential take his place, and the club won't give him an upgrade on his contract .. why wouldn't the player want to leave. Tigers can offer him a slight increase in he's contract, and give a position.

Buy some brown paper bags, employ Roosters salary cap manager, and sign them all.

We should throw the $$$$ at his manager and say see what you can do.

Easily one of the few true footballers in the game who just plays whats in front of him. Absolute gun.

It's a nice dream Milky, but Melbourne ain't gonna let him go in a hurry. They've been nurturing him since he was 15 and they have a lot invested in him. The Storm don't lose the ones they don't want to lose.

They've lost Proctor, Tohu and maybe Cronk in the last year.

Granted, I should've clarified that I meant that they don't lose the ones that they want of the young blokes coming through their ranks. And if anything, the loss of Proctor & Tohu means that the Storm will up the ante even more to retain up and comers like McLean & Asofa-Solomona.

The loss of Cronk is a totally different set of circumstances and by all accounts he will retire at the end of this year anyway.

Haven't they lost McLean to the Cowboys?

Off-topic, but I'm very curious to see their team develop for next year.
