G'day @jirskyr: I can not understand or believe this ongoing rotten, vindictive garbage that's being written about Ryan Matterson.

Matterson is not as much a sook as all the people on here that keep on putting him down.
It's like 'you are all sooking' because your *** best*** toy has been taken away from you for being naughty.

There are plenty of other toys in the toy box to play with, children.

I know you are upset and cranky now, so go and rip the arms and legs of your Chris Lawrence dolly...what's that?...you've already done that!!!...well what about your Packer dolly...Oh! you've ripped him to shreds as well...well, well, well... your Matalino dolly used to be your favourite so go and give him a cuddle cause he's got sore knees...what!...you threw him into the back yard so the dog could rip him to shreds, well, good boy...now your starting to sound like a 'real' Tiger.

100% agree. Drinkwater plays well in both the 1 and 6 and has some real speed and class about him. Wouldn’t cost much either.

Moylan would be a really bad choice imo and hugely overrated for what he can consistently bring. I’ve seen him out and about a few times drinking hard while he’s injured and I’ve heard he’s a lazy trainer and a sook from a former player who played with him. Madge is brutal at training so I don’t think he’d last long.

Me personally id wait until Matterson tells me who he wants to play for then flat out refuse to release him to that club just to spite him.

Even better, let him agree to terms with the other club and just never file the release papers, and when he goes to turn up to his first [insert club] training session, ring his manager and tell him we've not done the paperwork yet. Then string it out for week after week after week.

Put the Matto release papers in the cabinet with the Robbie Farah unsigned ambassador contract.

And Tim Moltzen's Dragons release papers.

Than November 1st offer AJ Brimson a good deal, in which he will replace Benji when he retires following next season

Much rather prefer this then throw some good money at a player like Matt Moylan who is fragile and inconsistent

@teddy23 whilst that does sound very nice, I would like to start bringing in some of our youngsters, there are some very promising ones. Don’t think drinkwater would be needed, with someone like Dillon coming though, Zac cini is another who has the talent and will play in CC next year. Brimson I think would be a very handy addition as would Jai arrow. Lomax would be nice to have, either one of brimson/Lomax i think would suffice, we have the talent in the outside backs in the lower grades, we need more beef up front. Focus on getting the forward pack up to scratch.

Tigers considering Rabbitohs raid
The Tigers are considering signing promising Souths winger Mawene Hiroti.

The Kiwi-born centre/winger debuted for the Rabbitohs in 2018 and played four games last season, scoring one try.

With Esan Marsters on the move, the Tigers’ stocks are looking a little skinny out wide and the 20-year-old Hiroti should help boost their depth.

A former Australian Schoolboy, Hiroti was named in the Canterbury Cup NSW team of the year this season.
