The sad thing is due to our poor performance the supporter base is turning on our good players like we always do.

Both may boys, samuela, kpp, API and twal should be erased from discussions on not trying or not being good enough those blokes carry the other 24 on our squad.

Terrels work load is still unrealistic for any human on the planet 70-80 a week in the engine room will gas any person period and yet he still turns up and tries his ring out.

Twal been huge this year but also flogged within an inch of his life.

Tiny literally delayed surgery on his shoulder multiple times and was still our best defensive and offensive back.

Douzza is coming into his own and always looks threatening.

Kpp another amazing defensive and offensive player

API is our soul and shouldn't have to be at his age.

How anyone can have a crack at this group is beyond me. They all walk into nearly any squad anywhere.

Everyone else sure shoot away.

Yes we are bad but not every player is bad anyone you throw into this squad is going to look rough

IF you get a highly motivated Moses Suli, you get someone with a big aggressive frame who charges onto the ball at speed and helps us gain momentum when in ball possession.
The upside to this is we can then afford to play someone with lightning speed on one wing when the wingers with lightning speed do not often offer much in way of tough ball carries.

we could put maka in Reggie’s until he’s ready play Jake on the wing and sulk at centre, or even with his contract value he could play reserve grade and only fill in, would be better than our situation atm. But all your points are true, if he’s motivated he’s a damaging player who can turn momentum in a snap

It is nothing tj do with HBG, it is merely pointing out that plenty of the issues we now have were based on decisions made or allowed by Richo.
We can blame HBG for bad decision making in appointing Benji and then Richo, but most including yourself were happy with the appointing Richo, so you can’t say you blame them for that decision which you would have e made and endorsed yourself.

We were fine until they blew up the board. Now we have 2 independent board members...what's the point when it is entirely stacked with Magpies stooges?

This is and always was a Magpies hostile takeover. They destroyed the Magpies, now they will destroy Wests Tigers.

As I say, just waiting on the big neon Magpies sign overlooking Victoria Rd when the new club opens at Rozelle. Absolute bastards.
 
If this PNG thing about taking some of our players is on point I'm not 100% upset about it.

The club uses the opportunity to redistribute Top 30 spots with players that are up for the challenge.

There are very few players that could not be upgraded. And some of those upgrades could come from within already.

Case in point- imagine it's Latu Fainu. I like him. Think he'll be good.

However- if he goes? Ok- Javon Andrews. I'm not convinced Latu is going to be better than Andrews.

If we were to lose players I honestly wouldn't be devastated to lose Turuva, Bula, Terrell May (although I would want Taylan May...so there is that caveat).

If we want players that are invested, I think I'd only be really upset if Twal or Doueihi got pinched as I feel the club actually means something to them.

What I'm saying, in a roundabout way, is that if we lost a third of our squad I don't think it puts the club back too far.

It's not a rebuild. Harp way back to 2003/2004. Sheens brought in a number of players in the rebuild of 2003 that were not part of 2005. You have to sift through chaffe to get wheat.

They appointed Richo becuse of the review after 13 years of failure..Richo took the job on proviso of governance and independence structures being in place and as soon as they saw it working and then losing control they reneged like little bitches and ripped the guts out of the club.. I despise the incompetent old selfish snakes and cannot wait to see them lose the licence for the good of the clubs future

Definitely Shawn Blore (can cover edge and middle off the bench) and would take Fifita and Spinks for forward depth. Still think we need another starting calibre prop though.

Terrel load yes is impossible and that has always been on Benji and HIS team, but his sideways movement instead of running hard and direct is on him.When he runs hard he more than bends the line, he draws in defenders.

Samuela is used in correctly and that is on Benji and HIS team, and if he signs for the Chiefs good luck to him and his family.

API is over played and that is on Benji and HIs team.

If you want to look for problems you will find them.
Currently Benji has full control of the coaching and recruitment at his request and it was all granted by Richo.

If Benji could get his brother in, to play 13.
Pushing Twal back to prop, that would be nice.

I genuinely think we're not far off.
We're just lacking the depth + some heart

And he had the support and guidance of Richo at the time. He is a rookie coach, and he's doing it all! Whether he asked for this or not, is actually irrelevant. People were complaining Tim Sheens had too much in his roles, but Benji is meant to be ok with it? Really?

Jesus mate,, as usual you draw a conclusion based on your own opinion and then you present those arguments as if they support your conclusion when your conclusion is entirely your opinion..so many logical fallacies always to support your agenda of completely and totally absolving HBG of any responsibility for the shit show they have caused for 20 years..they are terrible owners of a nrl franchise and should be stripped of the license

That is my point, why would we have given a rookie coach all this control and decision making power to start with?
Because we initially give him all this control and decision making power, we are now in a conundrum knowing he will most likely not take it very kindly if we now revoke this power.
