Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

How in the hell are people suggesting we bring Addo-Carr ‘home’?
Not only is he a brainless bonehead but he’s far past his best.
Would be typical of us to let a player go when he’s approaching his best and then want to bring him ‘home’ when he’s been in constant trouble and is past his best.
And, to top it off, I can’t see him as a mentor for young players to look up to.

i haven’t been pulled over for a roadside drug test ever…

How the hell has he managed to get caught for coke in a space of two years
Australian police cars are now equipped with cameras that automatically read and scan number plates in real time. They also provide information about the vehicle owner’s driving and criminal record.

If our recruitment team is serious about finding a quality 13, they should hopefully be watching a player named Lewis Symonds in today’s Qld Cup semi final.
Only 20 years old and if Zero Tackle have their info correct, he is currently available for 2027 and beyond.
Similar in playing style to our own up and coming Blake Van Drie, but much taller, bigger and stronger.
At age 20 he has already had over 12 months experience playing against and being dominant against men in the Qld Cup, he was a team mate of Javon Andrews in the QLD u/19’s team that beat NSW in 2025 and is big enough, tough enough and good enough to play prop, even though he is a natural 13 with good speed and agility and a crisp passing game.
He is the real deal and will be a quality NRL player sooner than later, hoping he is someone we are looking at in a position we desperately need.

Makes sense …cop car drives around…. Camera scans vehicle ahead’s rego, checks registered owners history and starts flashing “we got a live one here …”…

There's a great debate raging around how this AI technolgy is being used.

WA is now testing biometric facial-recognition systems that alert the system to who you are and whether you have a record.

Whilst this sounds like a system that could keep citizens safer, it also opens a Pandora's box of privacy issues. There have been multiple cases of police officers stalking ex-partners in the UK and the US.

In China, they have been using this technology since 2001, and it led to the social rating system. So, if you have ever gotten into a verbal altercation or a fight, been caught with drugs, or even jaywalked, you lose points on your social rating score. This applies to children too, as well as their parents.

The social rating is ranked and can lead to a person not being able to access health services, housing, or the ability to travel. If you dip below a certain level, you are also forced to work in a predetermined job.

The problem is, if you're wrongly convicted of a crime, it is still on your social record in China.

George Orwell was right when he wrote about Big Brother.

Why not throw Luai money at Munster and have another crack for 2 years till Andrews is ready. Latu 7 Munster 6. The experience would be great for the young guys
Not a bad idea. I don't think Munster would come here.

My idea was Cody walker as a part time halves coach.

My cousin is highway patrol. When it came online years ago he turned it off because it was pinging all the time 🤣
