Apparently there is a soft cap on your recruitment team. Did not realise this

Would fall under the Football Dept cap I'd assume.

[Tiger_Yoshi]

It has been reported he is being offered 2.5 million.
He’s good, not 2.5 million good.
You could employ a very big recruitment team with that money.

That’s over 5 years

Surely we spend bugger all on our footy department.

He’s officially off to the Broncos huge coup for them

O’Sullivan won’t last 5 years at the Broncos. He tends to do a job for 2-3 years and leave his contracts early. Hopefully we go for him then

I’d rather eat dirt than live in Bondi, but that’s just me. Bondi isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but everyone makes out that’s it’s the best place on earth. It’s far from it, imo.

When I was a kid (probably showing my age) Bondi Beach was literally a sewer.

What’s Warren McDonnell up to?

While he is there with the talent in Qld, he'll position the Broncos to make the finals regularly if not win another premiership.

Lived in the Eastern Suburbs for a few years a long time ago, hated it with a passion

I remember Mike Willesse interviewing Paul Hogan at Bondi Beach taking about that. I think Hogan's response was along the lines of it doesn't bother me I'm going in underturd anyway.

Laying in bed with sheens

Thanks for your reply. But if clubs are prepared to pay that for Peter O'Sullivan plus his network, won't other clubs have to match the investment to remain in the race for talent? I make no comment about the offers as those clubs obviously are in a position to assess the situation.

Especially Brisbane .....they have an abundance of players to chose from

But I must admit their recruitment and retention and identification of junior talent has been poor for a long time

I reckon you could pick an ex Broncos side that would flog the current Broncos side

Hopefully we don’t need him then…..

I wish we'd pick up Richmond's team song

Courier Mail article -Walters Cup schoolboy Team of the Season

UNSUNG HERO AWARD

Ashton Whyte (Redcliffe SHS)

Whyte made the Sunshine Coast representative side but was injured at the state titles which robbed him of some matches.

But when he played for Redcliffe, it was time to make up for lost time. He was able to cover lock and hooker where he was as tough as an old boot.

Whtye had a high ethic.

Saw an article saying he's one of the fittest up and coming players in the junior grades of Q cup.

Also stated he has utility value.

I believe we may have unearthed out very own Kurt Donoghoe / Max Plath / Ray Stone.

One to watch.

That's the one .....that's what would happen if my B-I-L wore his 1973 Manly Jersey with the laces to my place 😆
