Anyone else had mail that Arrow is coming to us? I am not one to normally spread random rumours, and have been as disappointed as anyone else with the players we were meant to get but haven't, but my information is that we have snuck under Souths noses and will get him.

I like the guy but you have to take these types of comments with a massive grain of salt. No one knows until they are actually signed. You can agree to something verbally but it's meaningless. The dates and such are 99% of the time guess work.

You're right he didn't. He did, however, say that we'd be signing someone with speed who could score tries.

He didn't say that, he said we are looking to recruit players with speed.

It's like half of you half listened and half understood what Pascoe said, and are running around with these mistaken narratives that he guaranteed a signing this week and, now, you reckon he said he's be signing a fast player.

Some of you are as bad as the worst journos with your mis-remembering and mis-reporting.

Recruiting a player who's fast...thought no one ever...

Well in the past we've specialised in giving away super quick players produced at relatively low cost - Korobeite, JAC, Papenhuyzen. We've paid overs to retain player/s we should have let go eg Nofoaluma. We got it wrong. Let's see if we can learn from the past. Signing JAC is a must.

That's hardly a speciality, 3 examples and every time it's Storm only, matching or beating our offer, to add to their already excellent roster.

When you don't have Cam Smith or Billy or Munster I can understand how the priorities are different.

I am happy to be proven wrong, but I don't believe he has signed with Souths at all. My mail is third hand and not a direct source but they did seem very confident and claimed to get the information from Jai himself. Fingers crossed as I'd prefer Arrow to Mitchell. He could be our Gareth Ellis
