I think the build up to the 2020 season is a hard one for Tigers fans because we have money in the kitty and desperately want success - sick of being the butt of jokes when out for a beer with the fellas. We need to be patient. We are on the right path. We are pushing s*@t uphill compared to the glamour clubs. We are though, moving in the right direction. 2-3 established players in needed positions and we are 'top 8' bound. Unfortunately this mightn't occur in 2020 but we are literally maximum a year away in my opinion from becoming a contender....

Surely you feel that the next couple of years will be different? We had hacks in our high level ranks previously (for a long period). Get a sense its going to be tough as Madge won't pay overs which is what players expect from the Tigers but we are building a stable foundation which includes players who want to be at the club and believe in its long term viability and success.

Why would I think that when our top 30 roster has moved backwards since last season? The club has shown no reason to see that saying next year will be better is any more accurate then the last 8 years we have said it.

We're getting a gym.

Okay. I apologise if I am a bit short this morning. I am buying my son's first car (he wants a rotary). While I know rotaries, dealing with some private owners of RXs brings back all the memories. Some are not good.

God I remember those. Mate of mine had a Mazda rotary. Went like a rocket but from what I remember not too reliable. Would be expensive to service nowadays I wold think.

I don't get why you are annoyed, this is literally the "suggestions" and "rumour" thread. By title, it's intended to be speculative, insubstantial, guesswork, left-field. It was created to house all the ideas about potential future players.

Real and confirmed signings get their own thread at the time they become real and confirmed.

Ideally the situation where we are the one club with money trying to sign a big player should have come in a couple of years time, after we had got some results and people could undeniably see we are moving upwards. Timing was off, is all.

We play Parramatta twice at this ground, one game being a Wests tigers home match the other a Parramatta home match. I don't know what Pascoe's original rugby league culture was but I would be very surprised if it was Wests tigers related. Wests Tigers have never had a culture/supporter group in the Parramatta area and most Wests Tigers fans feel Bankwest provides a hostile rather than a home environment.

I hate playing home games at Bankwest - not a feeling shared by all I know - but can Pascoe be attributed blame/responsibility for that alone? Sure he is often the face of the club, but surely that is a decision made by, and supported by the board.
