Jeez...if Packer & McQueen go, we then have 2 more spots to fill.

I can't see the cap numbers working for Souths unless it's a lop-sided deal in their favour

It is worth noting that Souths have lost FIVE experienced forwards and added NONE if Arrow is not coming this season.

Five is a lot to lose and their squad is badly balanced.

Same, I think Packer will fire up this season along with Musgrove. Souths can take a row, where were they when shopped Packer around last season.

He is probably a member of all clubs so he can get the goss earlier than most
It makes him look good to many supporters if he can break the news to them 1st
It's all a tax deduction for him so why wouldn't he be

But he is still a "Blooper" to most of us because he gets things wrong (as we all do)

Some may think a low Stooper
Others a Pooper or even a Nincompooper

One thing is for sure and that is he sure as hell is no Superdooper scooper

if that's true about Packer and McQueen, all our Christmases have come at once.

Has to be a gee up - Packer and McQueen are on approx 1mill a year - Douehi is on 500k - so Souths would be out of pocket a further 500k this year. And we think our recruitment dept is bad.

Packer has 2 years left at (reportedly) 700k a season. If we can get out of that we do it every day of the week. Good player on his day but injury plagued and worth about half that amount.

I think the first step in the process would be convincing the players it’s a good idea. Then after all the pieces of the jigsaw fall into place , and only then, the books can be balanced to reflect a fair deal where everybody wins.

I can't see how Douehi would be on 500k even if back loaded,the guy only just last year cemented a first grade spot,that amount seems way off
